I wonder if the lights will have an obvious connection to them if you take it apart. I resistor could be easy to add or just keep telling exway to lower the lights.

Skateboards don't need a rain tire. The point of grooves in a tire is to prevent hydroplaning. First off most skateboard wheels dont' even have air in them so you can't hydroplane in the first place. Hydroplaning happens when the pressure of the water trying to get out of the way of the tire is greater than the pressure of the air inside the tire so the tire surface lifts away from the road and is only touching on the outside edges still, which isn't enough surface area to create enough friction, so you slide. If you're on a bicycle tire the air pressure is much much greater so you can't hydroplane, but they put tread in the tires anyway because people expect it. With a urethane wheel there is no air so it's going to require enormous pressure to push it out of the way.

@LarsLarsen773 күн бұрын
You should go ahead and learn both goofy and regular. It's not like a snowboard where you need to mount your bindings one way or the other. You can just switch. Also, you wanna learn goofy so when you're riding in traffic you don't have your back to the cars (you can't see them.)

This would have probably been waay better had they just used the normal rc car finger trigger (google: "rc car remote types finger trigger" for images of the finger bit). That just seems really slow to change speeds (hard to scroll something when you're falling and if it were a finger trigger it could have just gone back to neutral when released) Edit: i.e. being able to make quick changes would probably also help a lot with balance.

I watched this before purchasing the gt and your review seems spot on. For any prospective buyers...The throttle is not much touchier than my meepo v3 it's just that it has a lot more available power. If it was any less touchy then I'm afraid you would have trouble accessing its power when needed ( steep conditions/obstacles) don't be afraid, you will get used to it. Easily selecting the power levels will help with it too. This thing is a tank! I crashed going approx 33mph sending the board into a stop sign and nothing broke. It does feel heavy but I wouldn't compromise the battery size or suspension components to drop any weight. It's all worth it!!

I built my newest love of a board from a hodge podge of broken skateboards including 1) Brand new Boosted Mini X with no remote (cost 150 dollars) 2) Meepo Mini broken 3) a deck from an Arbor Foundation series .... I had to use some duck tape and shitty soldering - but this board kicks some serious ass.... i weigh 250 and i still fly up hills! I sold the boosted board deck and ESC and battery and used the money to buy the arbor deck and the newer belt drive Ling Yi ESC with the highest top speed possible. I love my setup and everyone can tell its a mad scientist project , clearly SOOO D.I.Y lol... I'm just wondering if I could throw a 13s5p battery on my very beefy looking 10s Ling Yi ESC.... its worth a try, worst case scenario , i fry my 40 dollar Ling Yi ESC and have to buy a 12s one.

I have same surgery. It's 7 weeks, I can walk slowly, but main problem I am unable to take normal steps as my ankle joint feels tight in the front. I can move my foot up and down to about 80% of its normal range. The remaining 20% lack of movement is causing issues with normal walking. It feels like something is pulling tight in the front of my ankle. Did you feel the same, how long it will take to feel this tightness?

On Exway's website, they say, one would need the 36T & 44T pulleys to use the Paragon (Riot) with the 120mm cloudwheels. If one buys the Paragon the way it is with its 90mm street wheels, what pulleys came with them? aren't they 36T pulleys already? & could you explain why one would need 2 different size pulleys for just one board. All I'm asking is, what size wheels can I fit on the Paragon's stock pulleys and what exact pulley size do I need to purchase to be able to fit the 120mm cloudwheels, thank you.
@DanielKwan19 күн бұрын
Yes the stock pulleys are 36T. Putting 120mm Cloudwheels on the stock 36T pulleys would reduce torque compared to the stock 90mm wheels. So that lowers your acceleration and ability to get up hills. If you find the Paragon to be way more powerful than you need, then you probably don’t need the 44T pulleys.
@Sir-Kay18 күн бұрын
@@DanielKwan So, in other words, to use the 120mm wheels the way it ought to be used without losing torque, I should get the 44T pulley with the board right? Please, don't think these questions are dumb, remember you guys get sent these boards, I don't even own a board or access to none in this elitist E-industry. Anyways, I'm trying to ride the board like a 2in1 board with mainly 90% road & 10% offroad so any suggestion as to what wheel size & pulleys would best dampen the road uneveness?
