I like to see ratings. Not for every game, but for games of current players, and for games where there was a significant difference in rating between the players. When you are doing a series on a tournament or match there would be no need to show ratings except before round 1 and after the final round.

Leave ratings from the match, and also show the change accordingly, eg if rating was 2500 when match was played but now rating is 2600, then 2500(+100) will be awesome 😎

The "hat" Magnus is wearing is called "txapela" in basque language. The word for "champion" in basque is "txapeldun" meaning the "owner" of the hat. Competions of any kind are called "txapelketak" (playing for the hat) The model is a fishing boat (Very likely a "merluzera") to fish for cod. The basques have a great fishing tradition and are rumoured to have reached America before Columbus hunting for whales...

This is merely an example of the reason why Carlsen is deservedly the best player in the world, he goes for the win when others would settle for a quiet draw and yes, sometimes things like this happen and he loses, but these are are far and few and it shows in his results and achievements.

Fascinating game. Goes to show that the World Championship isn't a foregone conclusion. I'm off to the game on the 13th November. Very excited.

This world championship reminds me of another historical match. The 1970 classic: Bobby Fisher (Caruana) vs Lothar Schmid (Carlsen)

The boat model looks nice, it can add some beauty in your living room, though I can't tell the story behind it. The suit color Carlsen wears looks like dried out blood, Burgundy if I'm not mistaken. Normally I wear black & dark blue, those are the standard blazer colors I wear.
