She's using a very obvious interrogation ploy of pretending to know the answer to the question and setting a trap for him (the "be very sure of your answer" phrase). This puts Kavanaugh under stress to try to remember if he talked to anyone who might have worked at the firm. He doesn't remember, but does not want to be caught in a lie. It was very poorly done and really bad to do. It leads to non-answers. Kavanaugh eventually handled it correctly in saying that he didn't know. To add to that sliminess, she states that she thinks he does know and doesn't want to answer. If she knew something, she would have followed it up with a more direct question rather than just moving on.

I looked up this moment in history because I remember watching it and being incredibly disappointed in Harris. It was this moment which set my opinion of her as a loser. She is fos. She is not that smart. She brought ZERO to this hearing. All she brought was a bluff which failed. She has this incredibly arrogant and righteous attitude with nothing to back it up. No world leader with an above average IQ will see right though Kamala Harris. She should not be POTUS.

She insinuated the person she’s running WITH who got her to where she is a racist and sexual assaulter and when asked about it later she awkwardly laughed and said it was a debate insinuating you can just accuse people of terrible acts as long as it’s to get yourself elected. It’s not a secret she doesn’t have many democratic friends in the senate and just looking at her primary polls the democratic voters werent very fond of her either. So you may like her, but sadly you and a handful of other Americans aren’t enough to deem a candidate likable.

They were trying to stop the hearings from moving forward due to thousands of withheld documents that would provide more information into Kavanaugh. They released 42k pages the night before his confirmation hearing so this evidence was never brought to light. This is where you see the real activists and freedom fighters, not the folks here on youtube 😔

That's the point. She wasn't referring to a particular staff member at the Law firm. The Robert Mueller Investigation was front-page news just before she asked Kavanaugh that question. Logically, you'd think he would have remembered if he spoke to a well-known Law firm about it. Her question was fair.
