Lovely party at wildville.

I have a racoon that I feed dogfood to. I was so excited...tonight he had a buddy sharing his food, a beautiful bright red fox. Gotta love nature. Mom and I enjoy your videos. She wants a wild village and me to get trail cams.😊

The ferret will be an escapee.... my wife used to show ferrets ( had over 50 at on stage) as JP said nothing to do with the farmer, there are a few releade programs for the European polecat but not in your area, keep up the good work Dan, loving the videos

The polecat may have just been let go, kids get bored with pets and parents say let it go free. Pheasants will just be the odd one that missed being shot on a shoot.

It looks like a polecat cross ferret,That’s why it has the lighter colour.

Hi Dan, Richard here from the Dark Forest Germany, I have some videos of Marder (in German) and translated in to English is a Martin and we have them all over here. They eat the pipes in the cars and people put deterrents in their cars. I have several videos of the Marder (Martin) I can share with you and looks very similar to your. The only difference I can see is the size. The Harder looks a tiny bit larger.

Fitch. Polecats usually have more distinct stripes. It would have been after the rats. Bait with meat, poultry, rabbit/hare, fish or eggs, & they love heading up tunnels. If there are any culverts about they love them. Or better still, hen houses. They'll clean them out. Rabbit patches are another favourite. The feral ones (& they escape & live happily in many places) will travel for miles, so it may be awhile until it returns, if it likes the place. They are pretty cryptic & seldom seen in daylight.

Dan looks like an escaped ferret, they are carnivores so benjamin bunny will have to look out🐇

How long was that bloke there he may have been ferreting bit early though I’ll have a look where he was parked. Ferrets breed to ferret or wild polecat as I’ve had a hybrid. They are great escape artists so a few could have got out and bred that’s one possibility. But the farmer ferreting could be right. Someone could have just dumped it, I got a bag of ferret kits out of a lay-by once 😢 some people are just scum filth! Looks in great health it’s a recent escapee or one that’s adapt at catching it’s dinner, it’ll kill anything it can corner , rats rabbit etc, fabulous animals! My ferret court used to be a shed I had about 30 at one time with rescues etc 😮 Bet your buzzin !! ❤😉

The animal s must be feeling very lucky with all your treats.. it reminds me of takes if the river bank I used to watch many many years ago in the 60’s maybe even late 50’s. Not sure how long it went in for. He looks well fed doesn’t he, is there several rats. They looked a. It big to be mice. It’s a suprise what happens when we are asleep in the woods. Is the pole cat still inside the house somewhere.

sound's to me like that 4x4 was out poaching .. very often poacher's will have a breeding pair of polecats at home and when they have a litter of kits they will be classed as expendable I-E they will set snare's around rabbit burrows and pop a polecat down hole . but if it come's on top with farmer of police they just leg it and leave polecat to fend for it's self ...PS there are wild polecats all over west wales and i can say after filming them for quite some time that they come in all shades from dark to light ..take care dude hope you see it again

Ferrets are great hunters they'll take mice ,rats , and rabbits, they do sometimes get away when people take them hunting .

Yip a polecat, we had 2, plus ferrets. To me it's lay down in a hole and probably a lot if burrows running off it. Ours didn't have collars. When ours went out to catch rabbits we always gave them a bite to eat because if not they lie in the hole n eat rabbit. We lost one due to a guy getting loan of it and he didn't give it something before it went down n it never came out. We searched n searched but nowt.

*Off topic i know ,,but i use a wireless rechargeable Ring Doorbell in my garden can put anywhere as a trailcam costs me £3.50 a month for cloud storage and all can be viewed downloaded from my browser and phone also get alexa motion alerts works for me as im disabled and dont need to trek outdoors ,someone may be interested ?*

Hi Dan, My Brother has 15 ferrets and goes rabbiting with them on a regular basis. and supplies rabbit, pidgeon, to local restaurant's, family and friends. I phoned him to as him what he thought He said the same as JP is probably a ferret that's been lost. but he has never known a ferret take a pheasant but they will take pheasant eggs. He also said beware the farmer as he will not thank you feeding mice rats and badgers and foxes. There are plenty of rabbiting videos on you tube. but don't watch if your squeamish. Keep learning
