RARE Moth Caught Whilst Bird Watching

On a quick bird watching trip with JP I was shocked to catch a rare hummingbird hawk moth on camera outside a binoculars shop before we had even begun! Then it was on to do some bird watching with some great camera shots when a grumpy old man tried to spoil the day until JP put him in his place.

Great vlog Dan, I really enjoyed that. Loved the moth you saw. You do get some snooty people when looking at birds, they judge you by your binoculars apparently, I’m in the belief, that if you enjoy it, you go with what equipment you have, it doesn’t have to be swanky, what is wrong with those people to be so judgy? Looks like you had a great time x

A few years ago in fact two years on the trot we had one of those months in the garden we actually thought it was a hummingbird it was striped like a bee and its wings moved so fast you couldn't see them you've solved a mystery Dan and JP we still talk about this now 😊
