Agree he's a badass; however, he is still bigger, faster, and more physical than Diontae Johnson. I don't think a lot of people realize that and are assuming he is only a slot receiver because of his size. I think he can fill in where DJ left and is a more willing blocker.

Fans need to learn to temper expectations. We hype ourselves up every year after the draft and after what we see in the preseason and then we want people fired after every loss. Their schedule is brutal. #1 toughest in the NFL. Rookies also don't contribute a whole hell of a lot.

Wider Receiver 2. These numbers affect their position on the field (depends on the formation) and/or the role in the play. The #1 and #2 are "wide receivers" and typically line up furthest from the center on the left and right sides, but this is formation dependent. The #3 is the slot receiver, usually lining up inside the wide receiver's position, if they're on the field at all. A #3 receiver could be a better player than the #2, so the number isn't strictly their ability, but the #1 is almost always considered the best receiver on the team (their are, historically, a few exceptions). For a #2 you're looking for break away speed to spread out the defenders, and a #2 that blocks can be important, as the QB is more likely to target the #1.

I liked Troy Franklin, but you gotta consider this: the rest of the NFL continued to pass on Franklin until the 4th round where Denver gets their rookie QB his favorite target ... On the other hand, Steelers are the best at drafting WRs in the NFL (I'm not a Steelers fan btw). So Steelers know who they're starting, the rest of the NFL didn't want Franklin. I think it's case closed here
