After a long wait, we finally drove the BYD Seal. The Seal is available in two different battery packs and in three different variants. The battery packs are 61.4 kWh and 82.5 kWh with BYD’s patented blade battery technology. The 61.4 kWh battery pack produces 204 PS of power and 310 Nm of torque. The claimed range of this particular battery pack is 510 km and it is available only in rear-wheel drive configuration.
The 82.5 kWh battery pack is available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive combinations. The rear-wheel drive 82.5 kWh battery pack produces 313 PS of power and 360 Nm of torque. The claimed range of this particular model is 650 Km, which is impressive. The all-wheel drive variant produces 530 PS of power and 670 Nm of torque. According to BYD, the all-wheel drive variant’s claimed range is 580 km. The Dynamic Range variant with a 61.4 kWh battery pack is priced at Rs. 41 lakh. The Premium Range variant with 82.5 kWh battery pack is priced at Rs. 45.55 lakh and Rs. 53 lakh for the top-end Performance variant with dual-motor set-up.

അടുത്ത ഒരു പത്തുവർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ ലോകത്തിൽ ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ automobile കമ്പനി മാത്രമേ കാണൂ ബാക്കി എല്ലാം chinese auto കമ്പനികൾ ആകും. ഇപ്പോൾ ഉള്ള cell phones കമ്പനികൾ പോലെ. അവരുടെ EV techonolgy പിന്നെ automobile software battery management software ഇതിന്റെ combination German വാഹന നിർമാതകൾക്കു പോലും മത്സരിക്കാൻ പറ്റാത്ത നിലയിൽ ആണ്.

Depends on govt policy also. I don't think major markets like USA, europe and India will give a easy entry for China manufacturers.. See situation of BYD they are not allowed to set up factory here. Govt mis calculated MG motors that's why they opened factory in India, also govt suffocate MG so that they were forced to make JSW for Indian partnership, so that their internal info will be leaked to govt . How much CBU can they sell

The 15% duty falls only when it is “CKD” cars, all “CBU” cars are heavily taxed by India. If you r talking about the new norms for Tesla, it also have certain conditions to produce cars locally in 3 years time and for the time being only its 15% and the numbers are limited.
