A few hours to go until kickoff in that huge game between Scotland and Hungary here at the For the Fans fan zone in Glasgow. We are joined by the special guest, Colin Hendry. Colin, you must be excited for this one tonight.
"Oh listen, I've just come back from Germany for the second game watching that, and in all honesty, as a fan, and I've been to many tournaments and played in many tournaments, but the first one was in 1982, the World Cup in Spain. Wednesday night was as good as it got as a supporter, as a fan. I mean, I've played in other atmospheres which have been better, but just watching the national anthem, the flow of Scotland, and yeah, goodness me, that was a real hairs-on-the-back-of-the-neck, lump-in-the-throat jobby. Oh, listen, that's exactly what it was."
Steve Clarke has proved himself as a very loyal manager in recent times. Tonight we really need to win this game. Do you think he'll stick with the tried and tested, or do you think he'll go more offensive?
"Listen, I think it's more or less what he's got, you know? I mean, he stuck with the two teams through the harsh reality of football in the first game against Germany, having been defeated so heavily, to coming back and showing what we're capable of against Switzerland. A little bit unlucky maybe not to have won the game, but that said, with the two games we've played, we still have to try and win the last game, and we're in that situation now. But no, Steve, listen, he's a manager, he's got us to this tournament, and he's done that by choosing different players. Everything rests with him, and good luck to him tonight."
Obviously, Hungary hasn't really got going so far in the tournament-some good performances but no results. How do you see this game going tonight?
"Well, I hope we win, you know? I mean, I'm not going to... they're capable, they are capable. I know their capabilities. I watched them in a friendly leading up to the tournament where they were beaten by the Republic of Ireland in Ireland. So you're thinking that's a like-for-like game for Scotland-they're more than capable of winning. So if you put it into that sort of context, Scotland could easily win against Hungary tonight. But you know, they're a bear with a kicked backside, I should say, if I can say that on TV. But that's exactly how they'll be feeling because they'll be hurting and they'll want to try and respond in some sort of positive way."
Before we let you go, score prediction for tonight?
"2-1 Scotland."
