I personally don’t give a rat’ s ass about brand concepts, I just want to know that I am getting a quality product for my US$ 10,000 ; for which by the way you can get a Rolex Submariner. The most important part of a luxury watch is the movement . In this case it is a Chinese movement that nobody really knows and is actually found in much cheaper watches. Sure the Sapphire case can appeal to some, but it’s sapphire not Gold or Platinum. I would never wear a watch with a Chinese movement , even quartz, yet alone a “ tourbillon” . No, no people understood perfectly well, it’s the schmucks who have not understood. But, if they want it part with 10k it’s their problem, their money and they can do what they want with it. I ain’t gonna pay 10k for a watch with some cheap Chinese movement in it, because I ain’t no schmuck.

Michael mentions Hublot. The cost of Hublot Blue sapphire tourbillons are about $165k at the entry level. They also have other sapphire watches at around $75k. I am not saying it’s cheap, but it’s a lot less than the $2.2 million that he states for RM. It’s a shame because I enjoy the videos, but I think we all saw a sales pitch from the beginning.

Same here, however seeing the watch in person I'm sure I'd sh!t in my pants.

Our sapphire crystal is incredibly pure - even with five layers of anti-reflective coating, the 114 hand finished edges and 68 facets of our sapphire case design catch the light. This ever so slightly changes the colour and hue of the piece, depending on your setting. To truly be appreciated it therefore needs to be seen in person. A 4k camera comes close, but it's not the same as the naked eye 🔥👀

The sapphire crystal may be super-pure, and have qualities x, y and z, making it unique, etc. But, at the end of the day: I am a guy who loves watches, though I’m the first to say, I’m no expert, that’s for sure. But I’d be the first to say, it does look like plastic. I don’t know if it’s the light, or the quality of the camera (sorry Adam LOL), or whatever, but the crystal one, actually comes off, looking like a toy or something that comes with a fast-food kids meal. Absolutely no disrespect is intended; maybe it’s just the fast movement, in daylight, of this excellent piece....

Look, the movement is relatively bad. It is a Chinese movement. If they developed their own in-house movement then I would be WOWed but the only "WOW" factor here is the case that's it. And to me, the movement is all that matters. This movement alone can be purchased for around $250 on websites such as ali-express. If you want the movement cased in a watch then you would pay around $350-$500 but these guys are charging alooot more....even their titanium watch models are a ripoff...
