EXCLUSIVE: Malaysia's anti-graft agency cracks down on former finance minister Daim

The multimillion-dollar Ilham Tower, a prime commercial building owned by the family of former Malaysia finance minister Daim Zainuddin, was on Thursday (Dec 21) seized by the country's anti-graft agency, sources said, in a sharp escalation to an ongoing probe into controversial transactions by corporate entities previously controlled by UMNO. CNA Digital's Leslie Lopez, who broke the story, has more on the deal linked with the seizure.

The Malaysian anti-corruption is doing a fantastic job to start off. This man is related to the 96yrs old dog and thru this investigation, it will link to the corrupted Old Dog and his three sons. Malaysians are happy to know this is the way forward in order to neutralize more corruption within the country especially the corrupted Old Dog Family.

Anwar had boldly declared his net assets of RM11m, though being a former Finance Minister, but does not own a RM2.1b skyscraper etc. Designed by the world's highest-paid architect, Foster. Truly impressive. It brings to mind, reports on how M ignored numerous complaints from various dignitaries re : his then Finance Minister demanding high commissions. An open secret now that it was an excellent collaboration-in-progress. Daim's case today has brought forth some startling clarifications, which is long overdue. U seem like a learned guy, I do consider your thoughts.

@@jfj7452 Some of the many who complained were the Chairmen of Sanwa Bank, Bank of Tokyo & Thatcher. Confirmed in reports. Thanks to the Pandora Papers. Brave & great of Anwar to now tackle this case. We just await the job of MACC. Period.

Well in Malaysia there are too many running dogs serving its Masters. How to feed the dogs if the Master can't have enough opportunities . Millions are not enough nowadays for one Minister.
