Kevin, the husband of Ruby Franke, was interviewed for about 45 minutes by investigators with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on August 30, 2023, the day his wife was arrested for child abuse.
He told investigators he was asked by his wife to move out of their house and not contact any of their children in July 2022.
Kevin told investigators this was due to his own, "addictions" and help he needed with "pornography."

Kevin Franke's first response to all of this was to sue his oldest daughter. 8 Passenger videos clearly show he and Ruby were abusive parents long before Jodi came into the picture. He is a monster, just like Ruby and Jodi and shouldn't ever have custody of his children.

That was before he started to turn on his wife though. Likewise listen to the second interview. He mentions a blue notebook or something that he believes Ruby wrote down all of Jodi’s visions which even Pam was involved in. The items his oldest took may have had those which could have been why he’s so upset. Doesn’t make it an excuse at all to try pressing charges for that. But adding that Ruby the whole time is hating on their oldest daughter at the time in jail calls too doesn’t help when it’s Kevin she’s talking with. Given Ruby said her daughter and sisters are the same but she later talks with those sisters I’m hoping that too her opinion on her daughter changed.

It scares me to think she could get back access to her kids. He didn’t protect them in the past, so it’s highly doubtful he’d protect them in the future

2:14 for people don’t understand this.. Russell’s wounds were EGREGIOUS. They were not cut like lacerations around his wrist. They were large chunks of wrist missing as if he’d been mauled by a dog. Same with his legs. His legs were rotting. They had to take off dead, stinking, rotten, sloughing skin. The fact that his wounds weren’t causing him sheer agony….means nerve damage was already beyond repair. He will have egregious scarring to his wrists. I’d be surprised if he didn’t need grafting. There was no closing his wounds together. He will have permanent tissue and nerve damage, likely also muscle damage if not tendon as well.

You could see in the CCTV video that he was having difficulty walking. I agree with you - permanent damage to his legs very likely. I wondered about skin grafts too. In the photos you can actually see white bone 🦴 peeping through the cuts. It’s horrendous.

By this time, she no longer worked for the church. That ended in 2012. They wanted her license revoked. The state chose to suspend itt only. That is when she started doing more life coaching and came up with conexions. So, this has nothing to do with the LDS church other than word of mouth by others using her as a life coach.

You are merely stating your opinions but you don't know how things really work in the church. The church is fully against any and all abuse. When you are an engineer and a college professor but have to be told what emaciated means. I hope he never gets custody of the younger 2. He seemed to be fine with the way she disciplined all of the kids. He asked more about his wife than he did his children who have been tortured for months. Didn't even try to have contact with the 2 kids outside of the home. Wanted his daughter arrested for taking things out of the home when police came. These 2 are terrible parents. Neither deserves a relationship with their kids. My thoughts on Pam, the police came for one daughter and it was about an hour before she and her husband said the 2nd daughter was there. The police even asked if they knew where she was and Abby closed the door. All of the adults are shady.

I watched that video with the two older girls n that couple. The way that girl looked to that man before answering is a big red flag. Folks this is what human trafficking looks like. It's not always the stereotype but very subtle of your free will being taken away. It's taken n one looks to the person holding them for everything. Those girls were there cleaning. Domestic trafficking is real n this is it. There should be a hard look at these people. Right under the nose of upper middle America.

And they way they reacted when they were to,d they were going to Sharis house. They didn’t want to go until the officer said it’s either that or foster care. Just shows how much Ruby brainwashed them against their older sister when Shari was always so good to them when she lived at home. Also in Rubys diary she mentions that her daughter J is at Jodie’s house with them …so J knew what was happen I guess and didn’t get help for her siblings…just shows Ruby put the fear of God into those girls to not speak to the police …to not tell on them…to not have contact with their sister ….or they’d be punished too. No one mentions the older girls much but they will have a lot of emotional trauma to recover from. They are going to feel so guilty for not saving their siblings …but it wasn’t their fault.

Great coverage of this case! I followed 8 passengers since 2015. Kevin and Ruby were abusing and exploiting their 6 children then. Kevin should be charged as well! I watched Ruby's sister Ellie's channel 10 years ago during her infertility challenges and now raising her 4 children. Ruby's other sister, Bonnie, exploits her 4 children for clicks and views. I feel awful for watching all of the Griffith families content. Even Ruby's parents were YouTubing. 😢 I'm an ex Jehovah Witness, and the LDS religion is very similar. I stopped watching all their content. I'm only following this case and all the great coverage Brian. Kevin needs to be charged!!!

I do not believe that Franke or Hilderbrand should be eligible for parole until they have served at lest 10 yrs in prison. It is the parole board that will be making the decision on when Franke and Hilderbrand are eligible for parole or be released from prison. Therefore, I believe that all those who were physically and mentally traumatised by Franke and Hildebrand that subjected these children and others to horrific, cruel, and despicable abuse should be notified and able to attend all the parole boards hearings that are considering whether Franke and Hilderbrand should be released on parole. At least the victims of Franke and Hilderbrand will get to say why they agree or agree or disagree why these two women should be allowed parole regardless of any stipulations placed on them by the parole board. These were two woman that thought they could get a way with abusing children. The irony is it was a child of Franke that brought these two women down. Well done to that brave young man. He deserves all the love and happiness he so rightly deserves. All the victims of Franke and Hilderbrand should receive compensation from these two women. Hilderbrand can sell her house to pay compensation to the victims. Franke house should be given to the children to live in and dad should pay child support to the children.
