I can sit and listen to this great son of Africa the whole day. Such humility, honesty, and wisdom to behold. We are very blessed that he is still with us, and tapping into his rich oasis of knowledge and wisdom! Long live Akinwande Oluwole Babatunde Soyinka, a great son of the soil!!!

And many say Africa is the dark continent. If it were, this fellow would certainly be the insightful light in the darkness. May the world be blessed with many more years of his existence.

I'm very happy that you're talking about the sufferings of this generation. We expected you to be talking about the sufferings, illegality, fraud, criminality in Nigeria. Peter Obi is not Nigeria problem instead the hope of Nigeria.

I'm so glad he says his generation owes this generation an apology because it's his generation that got us into this mess, the mess we're currently in. I know it's something he also acknowledged, these so called leaders are responsible for the decay & terrible conditions especially with things like education.

You are implying what he wasn't implying. He wasn't refering to himself or Fela Kuti or Gani Fawehimi and many others because they talked, they protested they got arrested some lost their lives. He meant the animals that contributed to the mess Nigeria is in were people who were actively in power when he was a young fella. Now enough of that now you yes you fix it

the continent of africa does a really good job at learning foreign languages...the synonyms, fluidity of sentences, and just the verbal dexterity is always impressive to me, not because its unexpected but because so many people here in the USA cant do that..you have to intentionally talk simply to the average american lol but most africans sound like professors..and Africans age VERY WELL..Even the most controversial military leaders from 50 years ago are still alive or lived to be in their 80s-90s. In america, Soyinka could pass for his 50s if he dyed his hair

metaphysics of the universe converted into easily-understood human literature...egyptians or kemet tried to explain these universal principles in the form of maat and many gods...each generation of humanity does the same. It's the same general thing just re-written to fit a culture.
