This one is a presidential car very luxurious, if it comes to South Africa I guess it will be a good by to German cars. South Africans are all ready buying Chinese cars.

Until you notice the cost cutting measures implemented by the chinese manufacturers... I'm fine. I'll pay more if it means I know my car has been put together well.

If you can, please review that Exeed RX parked next to the Tiggo Pro 9. Its the Omoda C9. I know its confirmed for Australia as well as SA. Not 1 english review online

Tiggo 9 car owner, drives 12000km currently. 2.0T non hybrid version, fuel about 7.9-8.2 L/100km.

My only worry with these Chinese vehicles is the small engines powering them up! Why not have a 3L as the base engine at least for the flagship, instead of these small 1.5L/ 2L motors?

Chery Malaysia has issued a precautionary safety recall on 600 units of the Omoda 5 over a potential axle issue. This comes following a viral social media post where a customer’s Omoda 5 apparently had its rear axle detach from the vehicle while driving.

Promises are 1 thing , actual range is another . How about it's actually tested in Australia rather than its home country to prove its 'Claimed Quality, Durability, Reliability, Range ' Etc . All good to test & rave about it , but until its proven locally , as being a quality product , then its pretty pointless even looking at it until it's been given a thorough shakedown here .
