I say I'm sorry more than excuse me. And I'm proud of that.

SO WRONG!! First meaning of sorry is : feeling distress, especially through sympathy with someone else's misfortune. It's why we use the verb to be. To excuse is when you will do OR you did something wrong. You can BE sorry for something you did, but not ask excuse for that. Excuse = Ex-Causa= Be out of the cause.

Just realized why some people don't reply me and feel weird when I say sorry sometimes! It's because I use the word sorry instead of excuse me but just learnt from you how to use them and the problem is solved now! Hahahha

not sure about russian, but many polish people confuse these two expressions because we have a single word (przepraszam) used in both cases

Even though I'm a native speaker of English, I still watch your English videos (along with the Russian ones). I would add that "pardon (me)," although not unheard of in the US, sounds a bit formal to Americans. Most Americans would say "excuse me" most of the time. "Pardon me" sounds to be more of a British expression (at least it sounds more British to this American here).
