Maja Buždon was born on August 15, 1923 in the village of Praputnjak, then part of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Her mother Božica died of tuberculosis in April 1930 and Maja and her two brothers were raised by their maternal grandmother. The family lived in severe poverty and Maja, who was described as an extremely quiet and withdrawn child, only finished a four-year regional elementary school. She then worked as a seamstress in Zagreb, and after the outbreak of the Second World War and the German conquest of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in April 1941, she joined the Ustaša movement.
As Germany and its Axis allies invaded and dismembered Yugoslavia, the Germans and the Italians endorsed the proclamation of the so-called Independent State of Croatia by the fanatically nationalist, fascist, separatist, and terrorist Ustaša organization on April 10, 1941.

Thank you for creating this video. Most people outside the former Yugoslavia region are unaware of Ustaše’s war crimes towards Serbs, Jews and Roma, so this really helps to raise the awareness of it.

I live a couple of miles away from the former Jasenovac concentration camp and one of my neighbour's great grandfathers have been actually saved by one of the members of the ustaša who recognised him and managed to get him out of the camp. To this day his relatives dont know who it was because his great grandfather refused to tell who saved him.

It is not unusual then, that the Germans once again eagerly supported Croats and Muslims, against Serbians in the Yugoslav Wars of the 1990s. At least the Croats are Catholic European, but supporting Islamists is unforgivable, Germans just cannot stop themselves from harming their fellow neighbours.

Ja mogu da citiram bezbroj akademika i naucnika koji su se bavili Jasenovcem i stradanjem srpskog naroda u NDH, i da nisu Srbi, vec Francuske, Americke, Svajcarske istrazivace koji su studirali Jasenovac, a da ne pricam o Nemackim i Italijanskim izvorima koji su imali direktan uvid u ono sto je NDH sprovodila od 1941-45 godine. Samo postoji jedan problem a to je sto nema svrhe raspravljati o tome sa Hrvatima.

Генерал Дража Михаиловић је био министар одбране краљевине Југославије и признат од света. Одликован од председника САД 1946, те од Шарла се Гола, Чехословачке, Пољске. За разлику од хрватских нациста није имао логоре и није био савезник њихов већ се борио против њих. Први у Европи. Убијен од стране комуниста 1946 који су дошли на власт војним ударом и који су укинули демократију ,изборе и монархије. Никакве сличности са хрватским нацистима и зликовцима који су једини сем Немаца имали конц логоре а једини логоре за децу.

Je,je,zato je Draža Mihailović Čiča osuđen na sudu u Beogradu jer je naređivao klanja i ubijanja i osuđen zbog masakara po Foči i u Dalmaciji,pokolji 1942 u selima Dalmatinske Zagore Pop Momčilo Đujić masakrirali 5000 Hrvata u selima Gata, Tugare, Cista, Velika, Gornji, Dolac, Zvečanje, Dugopolje, Štikovo, Maovice, Otavice, Vinalić, Kijevo, Gorjak, Dugopolje Andrija Pribičević koji je imao 9 godina i izboden bajonetom preživio i bio svjedok na suđenju Mihailoviću u Beogradu za pokolje,Milan Nedić i Dimitrije Ljotić svi surađivali sa Nijemcima Wehrmachtom Talijanima!!!!

The story neglects to tell some important facts.People who enlisted to the Croatian military did it because of severe hunger in the country and the military being the only employer.People of Croatia did not know or see the difference between Axes and Allies,all that was very distant to them.Serbia also had concentration camps where they killed Serbs,Roma,Jews,...(Banjica,Bubanj,...).In October of 1941. Serbia proclaimed ifself to be the first Jew free country in Europe.Ustashes were no angels,but the Serbs were not either.The most victims in Jasenovac were either captured partizans or their families.
