But we are going to die for them anyway as true humans of Azeroth. Right?" **everyone leaves** Besides Perenolde probably heard what happened to his hated rival, Thoras from Stromgarde when he resisted the Horde at his doorstep. And the king of Alterac did not want to repeat Trollbane's mistake.

2:55 I am surprised that the Naga under Queen Azhara never noticed the Tomb of Sargeras under the sea which is in their territory until Gul'dan rose it up.

I think the Naga were in hiding all the way up until Illidan summoned the entire naga race to help him in his voyage to Outland. Don’t think they wanted to reveal themselves to the world quite yet as if they were waiting for someone to summon them to war and that someone was Illidan through Lady Vashj.

The Cinematic of this chapter is show us how powerful the game engine could do. And somehow the work is fantastic compare to the bigass company work on Real one lol

In canon, Rend and Maim angrily objected to Doomhammer ordering them to pursue Gul'Dan as it drew vital forces away from laying siege to Lordaeron City which ultimately cost the Horde the war. I like how here, they obey his commands without question. I guess they're as angry at Gul'Dan's betrayal as Doomhammer is. Anyhow, I agree with Rend that Perenolde is a coward that has no honour for betraying his fellow Humans.

Prior to the invasion of Azeroth, the orcs were literally killing and raiding each other's clans back on Draenor. And they do it again during the dark portal.

@@maksymilianziele28True. Alterac would have been reduced to ashes had they resisted. But apparently everyone else expected them to fight till the end "for honor". No, the reason why Perenolde is a villain wasnt because he allowed the Horde to pass through. It's because he had ulterior motives had the Horde won.

@@DavidGlendaleArdenaso Perenolde did not just allow the Horde to pass through the mountains. He also started to secretly undermine the Alliance and provide aid to the Horde, and this is an actual act of treason. Additional info also states that he ambitioned to expand his domains after the Alliance was no more. He's similar to Littlefinger from GoT in that regard, "a man that wouldn't mind watch everything burn as long he could be king of the ashes"

Kil'jaeden wanted to punish the warlock himself for this insolence and for ruining the Horde's chances of ultimate victory in the war, but his master told him to let it go. Let the warlock get his most deserved prize... the tomb for him.

The tomb of Sargeras was where Aegwyn imprisoned the remains of the avatar of Sargeras she destroyed. Of course, Sargeras had dark plans for her. The tomb itself was in what was once the city of Suramar. WoW later retconned it to where only a portion of the isle was sunk. I've always hated that. The humans of Alterac, led by Lord Perrenold, let the orcs pass through their territory because they deemed the war unwinnable. Perrenold decided he wanted to be in the Horde's good graces and was reprimanded by the Alliance later. In the novel, the siege of Lordaeron is well underway and the orcs are winning when Doomhammer receives news of Gul'dan's betrayal, his sending of Horde forces away despite victory being so close ultimately seals their defeat.

The Alliance only won out of sheer luck. If not for Gul'dan's betrayal, the Horde would have destroyed the kingdons. But apparently everyone dying with honor is better than finding a compromise.

The dev teams did a good job of lore. Not taking too much from WoW. I also like the distinct green colored skins of the orcs which do make sense instead of all of them being one single color of green.

@lisboah Ehhhh remember in the canon events, ublike this mod, Stromgarde and Stratholme are still intact, and most of Alterac is horrified their king sided with the orcs and rebelled against him. So Doomhammer still had Lordaeron's second greatest city, Dalaran, Stromgarde, Gilneas, Kul'Tiras, Aerie Peak, and Quel'thalas (in canon gul'dan left long before the shield wall was defeated, it's unclear if Gul'dan actually COULD have broken it.) Standing against him. And he still had to maintain a siege of Ironforge and Gnomer.

@@lisboah I would still say they were even. Horde could easily besiege the Lordaeron's hearthlands and capitol because Alterac let them pass in the first place. Both sides had their own traitors to deal with.

What's worse, his skull corrupted his former teacher, Ner'zhul, turning him evil, which was the first true step in his path of becoming first Lich King, who created the Scourge and corrupted Arthas with Frostmourne.

@@maksymilianziele28 So everything bad in Warcraft happened because of Gul'dan? Excluding pantheon-grade stuff like the Titans and Old Gods, of course. Gul'dan isn't responsible for the enbaddening of the cosmology, just the events of the games.

@@BlackPsionicmore like everything is the void lords fault They are the one who sent the old gods in the universe,which lead to sargeras beginung the burning crusade,which then corrupted kiljaiden and archiminde,then kiljaiden searched the universe for the escaped draenai,which lead to him discovering draenor and the orc and then gul'dan But outside of that,yes everthing is gul'dan fault

I liked how Ghoul Dan raised Thal'dranath. Hope to see this place before it was entirely corrupted by Fel in WoW: Legion. And the ride of Utok looked similar to Warcraft movie scenes, even complete with Murlocs.

You tell me that Gul'dan had an access to library of the most powerful mage in the world (one that even Deathwing himself was afraid of genuinely) for months!? Then Gul'dan should have learn more than few things which would help him in his conquest of all Creation (including his former demonic masters and maybe even Void Lords, Shadowlands and then Multiverse itself). Khadgar and Lothar, I know you were busy with the Alliance, but leaving behind Medivh's tower to this wretched warlock was not a smart move.

Wow lore sucks overall bro, hate to break it to you. If anything there are SOME improvements to the canon and other things. I believe the dev team did a good job of implementing some WoW aspects such as terrain, some character models, environment, buildings, and some story that eventually ties in filling in some gaps. Don’t even mention shadowlands or anything after MOP because it’s all trash. I quit shadowlands because I just couldn’t stand a poor story. Multiverse is crap to…

I just played this mission yesterday and it got bugged u.u for some reason rend didn't appear in the whole mission and the final battle against cho gall got harder, worst cho gall clipped into the mountain became out of maim range and the battle stood that way.

If only Gul'dan had used more powerful souls to raise up the Tomb of Sargeras, like murlocs. Those puny elf souls only got a small part of the island raised instead of of all of Suramar.

Come on bro, don’t go 100% with WoW legion lore. Legion only got a few canon things correctly but the whole Gul’dan from another universe doing what Gul’dan did in the real universe is just stupid. Not only that they brought back the ancient night elves that have been dead for centuries and out of nowhere they have a civilization and an army like as if they never went extinct… poor storytelling and that’s how it has been after WOTLK. Multiverses ruin everything.
