The same losers saying “they’re taking our jobs” are the same ones that couldn’t do what these phenomenal humans do! Thank you for all your hard work. 💙💯

Millions had worked and died investing their life trying to survive and make sure their loved ones survive as well through their work, persecuted, in inhuman conditions at times, underpaid and ignored but most of all mistreated by the unthankful attitude of the people and authorities of this nation that benefit from their sacrifice on a daily basis. The hands that feed America and their families abroad. Go to a field and try doing an hour of work they do to believe.

Same deal with ranchers or a lot of other jobs. Most people have no clue how to put up their own fence, or do a brake job on their own vehicle. We should bring up all that stuff

Truth!!! Migrant seasonal farm workers documented or otherwise contribute as much as 20% to the communities they work in and they work hard. Most states are still only guaranteeing piecework pay equal to minimum wage; the federal $7.25 per hour? There are also "clearance orders" that bring in workers for specific crops or canneries, however they advance travel costs and promise housing once they arrive . The housing is not free and the travel cost must be deducted from their earnings. Unfortunately there are times when those earnings do not cover either of those expenses and the grower does not promise to get them home and once the work is over they are booted out of the housing. The grower has pruning, field prep , irrigation, weeding and harvesting which most Americans will not do at that rate of pay. Some of these jobs are not paid individually but as a part of the general work contract and the only time there is pay is for the harvest. Disposable people, not unlike slave labor, they are totally at the whim of the grower and do not reap the benefit of FICA, and the tax dollars deducted from their hard labor.

The one thing I do when I see this big rig's truck's brilliant stuff. I always when they stop and they delivering stuff. I always say thank you for delivering our merchandise. Please pass this on to other driver. It's because without? These drivers. What would we have nothing so I try to? Please. Let them know we care and that's what I do when I see them.😊

And then comes the disabled. Here, in Toronto Canada, the ODSP has not increased for the last 4 years. I, here in Toronto have to survive on only the ODSP of $812 a month. There is such a thing as minimum wages, but no such a thing as maximum wages. My ODSP income is the equivalent of earning $5.00 an hour per 37.5 work hour per week That is one third of the minimum wage allowed.

Tens of thousands of migrant farm workers come to Canada each year to grow and pick our fruits and vegetables, but the coronavirus pandemic exposed issues with the program. A Fifth Estate investigation focuses on the federal government’s role in running a system that it admits needs overhauling.
