Usually Chanyeol and Sehun put their rap at the "service" of the lead and main vocalists...this time around it's totally the contrary and it's so great! I mean this 1st line of Suho with deep voice at the beginning...all those lines from Xiumin!it feels so different but so fresh at the same time!i really like that!!❤❤

This song and MV surprised me in many ways: I feel this song has more of an Exo SC vibe. When Sehun started the song and saw kai in the MV, my heart was so full.. I wish kai will be in the title song too. I also notice that D.O. do not has many lines here, but his addlibs undeniable always adding color to exo songs.

I think hear me out is a song for the other non-main vocalist to shine and hence they sing “hear me out” so that people can hear them out

I know there's a lot of focus going on right now about Kyungsoo's lines, but I love that Sehun, Chanyeol, Xiumin, and even Kai are really getting an opportunity to shine here. I'm sure Kyungsoo will return to a prominent focus in the title track. Going back to that lore theory video though, now I'm rethinking Carlos' idea about the 'main' EXO universe affecting the multiverse. When you mentioned the time reversing in Let Me In, and the clock reversing/possible Groundhog Day loop here, my immediate thought was, "I wonder if the universes ARE affecting each other in some way."

Anitra, you're the first person I want to share my thoughts with. I feel like in this era EXO are collecting the memories: in Let Me In they combined For Life, What is Love, Loveshot, Sweet Lies (remember Baek floating in the ocean?) and many more. In Hear Me Out they returned to Kokobop, Power and DFTF photoshoot... Either they've come a full circle or it's a new start and a new version of what we've known about them.... I wasn't able to cry as I was out again, but my eyes were watery and I couldn't stop smiling. The song is beautiful, the imagery is out of this world! My favorite scenes are in the photo booth, so happy to see my babies smiling and goofing. Side note: why do they give such lines to Kai??? I'm blushing everytime I hear that line 🤭 I knew he would be in both pre-release MVs but not in the title, but then I heard that Kai wouldn't be in the second MV. So glad the rumor was false!

The most thing I love about you is that you're so dramatic when it comes to EXO and I love it. Sometimes with other's reaction it feels like overreacting and fabricated but not with you. But this particular MV, makes me think that this happens right after kokobop. 1. The location is the same. 2. The scene where Chanyeol is washing some clothes, there is one shirt that looks like what he wore in Kokobop. 3. They are all having a hangover (?). Maybe because of all the "kokobop candies" that they took the day before??
