No, the shape they make is a tree, the Tree of Life, to be exact. They are wolves so they are hiding in the forest so its a tree. Plus, you should remember that all of EXO's MVs are connected, so, as you saw in "Mama," they have come to Earth to protect the Tree of Life. The teasers you watched hinted at the drama version of "Wolf" and the second part of the story is continued with the drama version of their song "Growl". A tip for future mvs! If the video specifically says 'EXO-M' or 'EXO-K' the videos will be slightly different. If the video says 'EXO (chinese ver.) or EXO (korean ver.) the videos will be the same. EXO-M and EXO-K are technically different groups, sub-units of the bigger group exo. Kinda like super junior's sub-unit concept. When they debuted, only exo-k promoted on music shows bc they were technically the only korean group while exo-m did promotions in china. I think you'll realise K and M kinda have the same people singing the same lines as others, as in Lay will almost always sing Suho's parts, or Luhan will always sing D.O's. Sm tends to do this since the vocal role distribution in the two sub-units are kinda similar. This is my personal view of what SM does: Lay = Suho Sub Vocal Kris = Chanyeol Main Rapper Tao = Sehun Sub Rapper Xiumin = Kai Sub Rapper, Sub Vocal Chen = Baekhyun Main Vocal Luhan = D.O Lead Vocal Wolf was a special case and was the first song where all 12 members promoted all together as the group EXO. They promoted separately again for overdose. But as members left, the exo-k and exo-m concept was pretty much scrapped since exo-m just didn't have enough members, that's why after Overdose, all music videos are by EXO performing different versions, and not EXO-K and EXO-M. Call Me baby is the last title release from exo including tao, so exo were technically splitting the parts up as they did before. This time however, Tao takes up the role of main rapper. (This is one of the last of exo's video's that are 'different' (extra visual scenes like MAMA or History.) After Tao left, exo continued to kinda split the songs up, Lay taking up the role of literally anything the others might have trouble pronouncing in Chinese versions. Love Me Right is THE last of exo's songs to have different videos, vocal or visual wise. (Lay becomes sub rapper esufauhlcnajsk) It's up to you whether or not you want to watch the chinese versions of Call Me Baby and Love Me Right since they are technically 'different', however the videos are not different in any way that you will miss some sort of concept lore. I do recommend it though, since Tao looks damn hot sitting on a lambo and my bias lay rapping is also the best thing ever. oOh also when you watch Call Me Baby I really recommend watching the 'Pathcode' teasers too! Gonna be honest: I 100% forgot the teasers existed but they're still as funny to me as they were originally. (well the mv's are too...) That chogiwa is iconic. & your reactions are super relatable as always. Yeah the members who get each part are different between versions, even though everyone is here. Also I think someone else pointed this out: but theres also a two-part drama version of wolf (which is more drama than music). There are 2 parts to it (in each language), but the korean/chinese versions are the same so watching the two parts of one is enough.
