Tempo is the whole reason why SM starved us the whole year, and honestly it is WORTH the wait!!!

I saw a tweet saying exo is so brave to put acapella in the title track of the main comeback album. Like they are so confident to show their vocal skill. Well, who will disagree? We wait for a loooong time for this comeback and it worth to wait. 1 month preorders, ot9, sehun's longer line, acapella. Everyone say thank you sm!!

Basically, EXO did that A cappella to show everyone that they are that group, and they can do it because they are EXO.

That acapella bridge blew me up too... I have never heard anything like that in any title tracks I've come through so it threw me completely off guard.

Another cool thing about this song is that the end part of the bridge, is actually the beginning!!! But it's sung so differently that you don't notice immediately. But I guess that makes the acapella part the bridge, but the second part more of an alternative pre-chorus.

Umu is me when that a cappella section hit. I knew there was going to be a cappella because people had spoiled that much for me from the leaks, but it is very different hearing that there will be a cappella and actively experiencing it in the song

When Kevin went on his theory it was like me watching some Korean variety or k drama without the subs. I don’t know what he’s saying but I just enjoy watching it.

Omg. Tempo and RBB were both hated when they came out cuz they weren't what the actual normal audience expected. I am happy to see that the critics and musicians LOVE these songs!

There were fans saying that the different sections in the song depict the "Allegro, Moderato and Andante" album versions(i.e. Andante for the a capella part) even if the tempo was almost the same throughout.

I Got A Boy, Red Light, Tempo, Ice Cream Cake is a god-tier of SM. Some people might not understand this kind of song as some of it prefer verse-chorus-verse chorus kind of song but these song are very unique and it’s so original, no other group can outdo them.

We're studying Mendelssohn in my music theory class now (I actually have to do a composition in the style of Mendelssohn), so that comparison was really cool!
