Exocad 3.1 Easy Window Crown cutting Technique in step by step Dental Technician Design Tutorial

Today I am showing you how to design a Window Crown or Grill in Exocad 3.1 Rijeka
This versatile technique can also be used for Gingival reduction guides or other products where you must cut a defined shape from another object.

Window Gold crowns are commonly also known as "Grillz" and an
covers one tooth with an inlay on the tooth.
You can choose any tooth and you could print and cast it in 10k, 14k, and 18k solid yellow, rose, and white gold.
I recommend printing it in a 3D printer and then casting the Window Gold crown

It could be possible to cut out the windows with Meshmixer. I am not that skilled in MM to be able to tell you more.

Hello, I’m a practicing dentist and I’ve had a few patients request these. I’ve been tinkering around with test models of my own teeth before I get too deep. In my office we primarily use Medit for all things CAD related. I wanted to pick your brain about the best settings for retention. I’m struggling to find parameters that work well and most test that I’ve printed have fit well on the model/cast but no in the mouth. Thank you!

Hi Bro! Do you know, how can I convert sdfa to stl, via the config menu? I need to make the components of the implant (analog) in the folder in stl format, as well as the scanmarker.
