Awesome video Gary! We really appreciate you sharing your protection journey so far. Getting 2 years out of any Jeep windshield is a great story! You're absolutely right to assume that our windshield protection has advanced since you were protected 2 years ago. Just had my Gorilla Glass windshield replaced last month and it cost $1400. $1061 for the Glass, the remainder was labor. I've been considering this option to protect the new glass.

We're protecting tons of GG windshields! These replacements are really pricey and while the upgrade is better at taking impacts, we still see them breaking without protection all the time. Adding a protective layer like ULTRA not only protects against impacts, it also keeps the glass from getting sandblasted and scratched when you're out wheeling.

One of these companies just reached out to me to review a screen protector on my channel, and your video came up in my recommended while doing some research. Excellent review! I’m a polarized sunglasses wearer and am wary of anything that I do with those sunglasses on.

Thank you for the compliment, and I totally understand. I wear polarized su glasses too, and the only rainbowing I had was in the lower left corner and only a small area. After a while, I think my mind eventually blocked it out.

Very cool! Yeah I could see newer windshields even costing more ↗️↗️ $500+ Shortly after I replaced our Jeep windshield we got a fresh rock impact 😭😭

Almost everyone I know with an unprotected JL or JT windshield has had a crack. Myself included when I had a JL. No issues on my TJ though. Old school for the win

$300 for a windshield? On what planet? I just had mine replaced on an ionic five and it was $1700. Maybe on an old car it doesn’t have any sensors or anything to it. Yeah but not on. A modern car

@@wambam1741 This was a price I saw when I did a quick lookup. My gladiator doesn't have any sensors or anything built into the windshield...just glass.

*I went to the original clear bra store in Utah, they said this is Junk and would last a year max! Thats if parkin in garage day and night*

I can attest that mine has lasted longer than that. Going on 2 years and never garage parked.

We hear this every so often. There’s a good chance that shop had a poor experience from an early generation of windshield protection film. Many companies have been trying to create a lasting option for true defence against daily wear + impacts. The film that Gary had applied 2 years ago was the first generation of ExoShield to introduce our Endurance Class nanocoating. This new coating, along with some other developments from our engineers created ExoShield GT3 - the first wpf to last 2+ years in any environmental conditions.
