As an outsider, who has never been to Somalia, I really believe that progress and peace is possible in Somalia. You cannot give in to fear. Believe in the strength and ability of the Somali people, and it can be done.

Old comment but I totally agree with you. I would be considered as part of the Somali diaspora but having never set foot in Somalia but visited neighbouring countries like Djibouti. But if Somalia can rebuild, and help outroot terror, Somalia can really prosper. It is already on its way and that can only be good.

Beautiful, I would love to buy a property but I'm an Atheist so that wont happen. I don't want to live under Shari'a. I will stick with the west, maybe one day Somalis with be secular and tolerant to different opinions and belief systems.

Why do houses in somalia look so fake. Where did they get this type of architecture. It doesn't feel real. It looks like a house you would use temporarily or a temporary office. European style homes look real and are designed to stay there for centuries. I think I am judging the house alone. Maybe the european houses look more real because of the surrounding being covered in cement and not sand. I am assuming it would look more lively if it was surrounded by cement instead of sand. But who knows maybe it is wrong choice of architecture style.

unless that building is bullet and bomb proof, you can not easily convince people to buy and move in to those properties. by the way why not charge million dollars that way you'll be sure people won't buy it.
