Yes, you can but please make sure that you can use in limit English words. Otherwise, paper examiner will get confused about your medium language of paper & that will affect on your marks. So, make sure that you will use only those words in English which are difficult or inefficient to inculcate in proper manner in Tamil. Or you can use to mention English words in brackets for the written corresponding tamil words. Paper checker has to check bundles of paper so he is not interested too much in reading & evaluating your flowery Tamil or any other regional language like Hindi, Malayalam, Marathi, etc. His only aim is to get exact & relevant meaning whatever that question wants from the written answer. So at the end, only use those English words translated from difficult Tamil words which are emergency to use in the answer to satisfy its exact meaning. Sorry 😅 for a long comment but hope you will get what you want.

Athu pass pana than matha papers evaluate panvanga.. so Reading comprehension nu oru activity iruku athu enanu pathu nala learn panunga.. all the best
