MC Lyte is an absolute treasure and legend. She is so prolific as a rapper and hardcore DJ. Love her as an announcer for the Soul Train and BET Awards shows. I also enjoyed seeing her as a guest star playing herself on an episode of Moesha back in the '90s.

In this interview, the conversation was great and well needed. I love how Lyte brought her financial advisor coach with her. Often times people neglect the importance of a financial advisor. I have heard many stories of celebrities or wealthy people always say people "lack the responsibilities of financial literacy" or we don't understand the importance of finances. Just down to earth conversation. The body language made it hard at first. Overall, we need more conversations like this just unscripted and go with the vibes. Keep going Tip.

The thing is, those who accept being the problem do not try to be the solution, and unfortunately with the way this world is set up, nobody is obligated to give you a solution for being the problem. Figure it out and stop before someone solves the problem in a way that may cause more problems for the problem Message: DONT BE THE PROBLEM, and essentially YOU WILL BE the solution. You can’t be anything, but...with some damn effort and focus and WILL.

I just want to take a second to not only applaud everybody who's been on TI show but TI himself! This podcast has firmly become my favorite podcast to listen to PERIOD. THIS MAN is as wise and humble as he is cool and collected. From going to just liking his songs to really knowing him then watching him interview people and teaching me things through them, I feel like there's no glass ceiling with this man there's no end to what he can do and I am so f****** happy that I get to experience it and be along side watching this man's journey! So many people can benefit from him and what he has to say and what he has learned through his life. I only hope people are taking advantage of this! TI if you ever see this sir I am open for an internship! I'm looking to move anyway! :-) jerseys nice just.. I need to go to a place where I can be not so financially ignorant and learn without extreme consequence. Which is why I love watching you and killer Mike you teach me how to use my money correctly! Anyway this has been long just want everyone to know please learn off this man he has a lot to teach and Mr Harris please please don't ever stop

I love how he silently checked his wife for not being engaged in the conversation and she kindly giggled it off. They're cute lol 🤣 I don't think anyone caught that lol 🤣

Lyte means so much to the hip hop culture. I'm so glad I came along during that era. Ironically, I messaged Lyte on Instagram months ago before seeing this interview about how much I loved "Poor Georgie'", "Shut the Eff Up" and "Cha Cha Cha." Never knew she didn't make money for that song. Hope I didn't make her mad. Oops. Lol Good information though. When TIP said hymen gate I lost it. He's a fool.😂😂

@@altawashington2316 it may seem like shes being disrespectful but it might not be intentional. Some people have issues with focusing like A.D.D.

T.I. I have much respect for you musically and your position as it pertains to US being Black in Amerikkka...but I have to say this in hopes that you improve going forward....You had two of the greatest women in their profession on your show and in particular they have financial knowledge that we all need...you had them on your show over 2 hours yet you talked over 60-65% of the time. You would ask questions but wouldn't let them finish their thoughts. I've been waiting on this episode since you dropped the trailer but we got very little information from them...To be a great interviewer involves asking questions then stepping back and allowing the guests to open up and pour into your listeners. I don't feel you gave them the authentic opportunity to do that and it was frustrating to watch...every time it seemed like they were about to start dropping jewels ...you kept interrupting them but I'm sure you didn't notice because both of those ladies are high level professionals and just kept their composure. I pray that you see this and take notice to allow your guests be the star instead of you...you already certified fam...you don't have anything to prove. PLEASE ALLOW YOUR GUESTS THE SPOTLIGHT TO SHINE. I pray this critique helps you and your show going forward.

For me M.C. Lyte was my #1. For multiple reasons! Lyrics, the way she carries herself, the she dressed, and she was so confident, attractive and not showing her body to sell records. Then my #2 was Tribe

I think I listened to at least 6 of these podcasts...never thought you could binge on FB! LOL! TIP, this may not mean much but you have definitely grabbed the attention of a woman that has undiagnosed ADHD (not sure if I got the acronym correct) but surely you get my drift. I am so glad you are still with your wife, Tiny and I'm super PROUD of the positive role model you've become throughout the years. Please keep up the "good" work and may TMH continue to strengthen your purpose!
