It's crazy how much praise or how much JayZ brags about giving game to the culture via listeners but yet Jay isn't really on platforms giving the type of knowledge i get when TI interviews people outside music. Motivation is still one of my favorite TI songs, it motivated me in a different way when i was a kid but when i listen to it as an adult i apply it to my dreams when i lose motivation. Like TIP said on the song "if God with me who be against me" dope episode!

It's possible to appreciate one person without talking about another. Everyone has different methods Jay Z isn't the sit down and talk on camera regularly type dude (Neither was TI up until a certain point.) Jay Z has Roc Nation, Roc Nation sports and Tidal which pays license holders WAY more than Apple or Spotify. Just because something isn't on video doesn't mean it's not happening.

Taking this as an opportunity to diss Jay-Z is ignorant & regressive. Tip would tell you that Jay-Z is Literally Tip’s mentor who Tip has modeled most of his moves after Most of the most successful hip hop artists in the last 25 years would tell you Hov is the blueprint & one of their teachers

No one's talking about the ridding of alcohol & drug addictions that are adding to the hopelessness of the masses. The results are unreapairable. It's fx is worse than the 400 yrs of slavery. What we doing to each other is worse. Killing over egos and poisoning our own families.

Natchez and South Carolina were the two areas where the cultivation of cotton (seed variety) was perfected. Natchez was a one of the largest slave imports of the country hence our "Forks of the Road" a historical slave trade post. Dr. Henry Gates shot some footage here for one of his PBS programs. Natchez is a "hip lil' town" home of the crookedness! and it's straight-up Antebellum. And in the late 1600's to 1700's most of the country's millionaires were here directly or indirectly due to assets of slaves, cotton, and/or propriety. Natchez is on a bluff, high ground on the Mississippi. The cotton was planted in cities like Vidalia, LA and other cities along the Louisiana border of the Mississippi. Louisiana along the Mississippi River is all flat land. So when it comes to the country's paper trail it starts here. A lot of prominent politicians and military generals lived in Natchez during Civil War Era. There are no ruins here wasn't shit blown up here or burned for that matter. It was virtually neutral ground and was the State Capital during the Civil War a period of time. Well that's it brah, looked the rest up for yourself. Natchez is mentioned a lot low key in novels and movies...hell even Life with Eddie and Martin. 🤨

I really enjoyed this interview but strongly disagreed with your guest’s views on reparations. For as many times as opportunities for growth have been taken from our culture despite our efforts and hard work in areas like; education, employment and housing, how could we not DEMAND and EXPECT reparations. When I look at the disparities in housing alone, I know the damage done do my people and the set-backs that resulted financially, mentally and physically. It infuriates me that their is even the slightest suggestion that I get over it and move forward. I agree with TIP, we shouldn’t have to pay taxes and I agree with you in that we should not have to pay for our eduction both primary and post-secondary should be free. And no I am not broke, struggling or undereducated, just like you I own properties, employ people educate, work in the community and because I am self-employed, I too speak freely. Please have this guest return and introduce more people like him Mr. Harris. I love what you are doing with your talents and platform.💪🏽

It was Peter, not David. King David was hundreds of years before Jesus. Peter was that disciples that cut off the guy ear when they came to get Jesus. It's all good because David was an awesome King and warriors with 37 warriors mighty freedom fighter that was super hero for real. On his team. 2 Samuel 23:8-39.😊 I enjoyed the podcast. We have to first pool our existing resources, leverage our value in various spaces, & build an economic power base. That power base then can be used to lean on the government, enact laws that then secure reparations for the rest of our people The government wont just give our entire population just reparations just because its the right thing to do, we need our wealth & power concentrated. Good morning, I pray that you and your family are doing EXCEPTIONALLY WELL on today. 🙏🏽 He was referring to the Disciple Simon Peter. John 18:10, Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. I just figured he meant Simon Peter, and was just mistakenly saying David, because David was not one of the original 12 Disciples. Matthew 10:2-4, Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. But great interview, great information. 🙌🏽

❤civilization visionaries: architecture genius, culture organization and now we saying ‘financially illiterate because we didn’t get the memo’ then I have to ask who wrote the memo? We need to really know that our DNA have the blueprint for EVERY thing. The universe was ingenuity created for every one to have a purpose and when one looses focus of what is sovereign and vere off the good path for selfish intentions and fall into disobedience. Then we loose connection to supreme divine inner strength wisdom knowledge and over standing. Then each generation further itself from the centrifuge power. So, what we the people of Yahweh must stay focus on what is given & what is required and Know that our Abba father will not forsake us but to press each day to the mark. There is no memo to choosen people, it’s the LAW hold that close and dear don’t venture from it. Cause the law won’t judge if you follow the law. I love the conversation I love the non profit of HOPE it’s an ingredient to substance we as a people need to move mountains. Stay true my people, love y’all

Decent discussion. But regarding the Black Wall Street, restating that the attackers were "well, Mostly white" after TI stated that they were.. white was incorrect. Who the heck else was involved?? Are we all afraid to call out wrong? Also, to say that black folks rebuilt Black Wall Street and then left it to trade with Whites was disingenuous. Yes, structures were eventually rebuilt. But, after this massacre, I lot of black folk refused to comeback. In fact, I read of survivors still being traumatized and afraid to even talk about it. So the same vibe and momentum that this community had before was not there again, because the white community was not having it.
