My girlfriend @allymariebrown and I head north to stay in a freshly renovated black a-frame cabin in the heart of Stowe, Vermont while we chase fall foliage. We experience autumn in the old fashioned New England way, running through a corn maze, picking apples, eating cider doughnuts, hiking, baking apple crisp and bundling up by the fire.

Kyle and Allie - I have an autoimmune condition that is causing me to have less and less mobility, so I hope you know I am living vicariously through the two of you and your friends. I especially loved climbing the dreaming tree with you. I am much older than all of you, and it's like watching my son and his raucous crowd! I laugh, I cry, and I say "ah" and "wow" a lot. There are times when I'm driving my usual route to my usual destination and it suddenly hits me. I live here. These colors, skies and air are part of me and I get to wake up to them every morning. New England is truly magical. Vermont is paradise

You don't have to go all the way to New England. The Fall colors are happening in the Carolina's too. When my health improves i want to chase Fall from Vermont to the Carolinas. I think i could squeeze 2 months out of Fall.

I spent 8 years in Pigeon Forge, TN and being a fifth generation Floridan, I never got tired of those mountains and having four seasons. I tell my wife all the time, when we retire, I want to spend as much time in New England as I can in the Spring, Summer and especially the fall. Enjoy your trip to TN, I hope the colors are vibrant!

I am a tropical country man but I used to live in Melbourne Australia, the seasons I love very much are fall and spring, I really enjoy the beauty of fall foliage changes and the flower blooming. However the fall foliage in Vermont is really amazing, I dream of enjoying the fall foliage in Vermont, It looks magical. Wooow.

I grew up in south Deerfield, with my dad fishing the Deerfield river and lots of hikes up mt sugarloaf. I am now 79 live in Olympia, wa and am blown away with nostalgia watching your videos. The fall and winter bring back hundreds of memories. I miss it. I camped in Conway and went to girl scout camp at ash field lake. Thank you the joys of Massachusetts. Washington state is lovely but oh to be back in the land of round trees. Thanks

Lot of people from developing countries think USA is always hustle and bustle.. yet they do not know that American country life is so quiet, down to earth and can be very lonely too. Dude! On our way up from nyc last weekend to vt we stopped at that spot in the beginning! Didn't even realize that the dreaming tree was right there, but now looking through pics and i see it in the background. When I was in college (in Korea), I read 'Letter from Peking' by Pearl Buck. And I fell in love with Vermont right away. After that, I went to the US, got my PhD, taught at two universities, and finally returned to Korea in the 90s. Now I am retired. But I still dream of driving through beautiful Vermont in the fall days.

Beautiful! I must say I watched Ally's video first and I preferred it. She hasn't learned the editing "skills" yet. The flashing from one picture to the next, ( Not allowing me to focus completely ), gives me a disconnect "feel". My mind disconnects from my heart, when visions appear too fast. I like a bit more time, to really jump into a photo or moment, (of video), thereby allowing me to truly breathe in, the scene. Thank you, for sharing the "other", perspective, of this fabulous trip! I have a dreaming tree, too, although I didn’t call it that until just now. We were hiking along the Deschutes River in eastern Oregon and found a huge Alder right on the edge of the river. When I leaned against it, I had the most amazing experience. Everything around me seemed to become incandescent. The world was alive in a new way and I felt like I was seeing not just through the “eyes” of the tree but through the eyes of love. I started to cry because I was so moved (and I’m crying now remembering). It was such a precious experience of nature, one I’ll never forget. I hope I’ll be able to visit my dreaming tree again someday. // This was the first time I’ve watched your channel and your quality and aesthetic are outstanding. Thanks for sharing your light and effort with us.💝

Oh my goodness, this is just gorgeous. These are the kinda falls I dream of. Here in Chicago we don't get them as good as they used to be when I was a kid...the leaves practically die before changing colors now lol.

Fell in love with Vermont on my first visit back in 1998!!!! the colors were sooooooooo nice that year! Wish I could live there.
