The tnt part reminds me of what I used to do on my PlayStation 3 where I would create a super flat made of tnt and then blow it all up and go through the huge caverns it would create. Thinking about it now I am surprised my PS3 was able to handle all of that exploding.

Tbh a newer gen i7 is enough to render these explosions and maintain a decent FPS. Threadrippers or Server Grade Xeon processors are too overkill for this kinda stuff

Nah I don't think his pc is to rekt, I heard that some pcs allow you to "slow the engine", making things slower but more smoother. Combine that with editing and it looks normal
