This project was such a great respite after we worked in our yard this cool, cloudy Louisiana morning. Yes, your vision and your brother's is amazing Just a bit about "us". My husband is 86 and I am 82 and have been married 65 years. We have 3 children, 3 grown grands and 8 great grands and enjoy them so much! We both garden using a walker or walking cane. The trellis turned out amazing! It was enjoyable watching you both work together to create such a beautiful and unique garden item. A few years ago my brother and I built a huge potting bench/table with high shelves that i use to display some potted plants. We used scrap wood so we didn’t spend any money... those are the best projects. My brother and I work so well with each other and have so much fun being creative together.

That flat trellis your sister gave you is meant to be up against a wall like a wall of your house or a fence not free standing. I thought it would be all wood lol I still think it should be but hey if it works for you thats jake with me. Willow latched between the logs would of been way cool. Atm I am researching Japanese trellises I do like the serenity of their gardens !
