HonestlyWWI vehicles could give gaijin the excuse to split the air trees. Wwi could be rank 1 and current rank 4 could be rank 5. Then jets would get their own rank 1-5

One thing for the UBW, it was the first German AA vehicle. Calling it a Flakpanzer wont be out of place for this one. I am pretty sure it could take flak shells too if they were around in WW1

Honestly, I feel like adding the main 4 WW1 tanks (Saint Chamaund, FT-17, A7V, and Mark V) would be a great addition, along with some WW1 era Biplanes instead of just 30s planes and biplanes

Hell no, imagine the amount of trolling that would ensue. You already have Po-2s in jet matches. These should be April fool's vehicles only. You already have fast light tanks like hellcat for caps, and they can actually fight back

Sounds like what warthunder has always been, trying to actively play ground battles is shit cause of the sweats that show up in every game due to the non-existent matchmaking system, so if someones having fun with a small goofy vehicle? Let em, those types of players always make me smile no matter what side their on!

@@mokou2526 Typical anime pfp take. Yes, the only guys having fun in a rigged match are the one troll and the people lookign for a free win. This isn't exclusive to war thunder, this is any competitive pvp game. There's a difference between playing off meta and straight up screwing your team because you think that insta-dying in a reserve is somehow humorous. As to the video vehicles, there's just no way to add a ground vehicle that cant shoot in a way that would be balanced.

Imagine if gaijin added support vehicles like ARVs, such as the M32 or the Bergetiger You could give your team some extra survivability, without a main weapon you could focus entirely on keeping your team alive by dragging them out of the line of fire while they’re disabled or providing crew replacements Would be a nice addition to frontline rushers

So basically the Centurion AVRE but in the tech tree? AVRE stands for Armoured Vehicle Royal Engineers which was literally made to take out implacements with it's gun, alongside towing damaged vehicles back to a repair station, so having a "Repair Vehicle" or an "Engineer Vehicle" line in the tech trees would kinda cool They wouldn't be able to dish out much damage, but maybe they could do something like revive a downed tank if they are close and quick enough, or plant demo charges/mines to disable/kill the enemy teams tanks

Personally I'd really enjoy to see some WW1 stuff in WT, I dont care much for modern military, but I believe Air SB with Fokkers and Sopwiths would be a absolute blast. Plus tank battles would be cool aswell, imagine if gaijin added infantry AI to run around and cap points, maybe have AT units, field guns, etc... for WW1 mode or even a EC Ground Battles mode with large maps and bot infantry and supply vehicles (ex.: Enemy spawn point costs relies on supply routes that you as the player is able to intercept with your tank/aircraft, less supplies = higher spawn points per vehicle), infantry can cap objectives, use field guns, use handheld AT devices, I think it would be fun af to diversify the gameplay into a more realistic state, idl just an idea that came out of nowhere

2:04 Don't know why the mod maker called it UBW 1. UBW probably stands for Überlandwagen which is the supply vehicle variant of the A7V not the flakpanzer variant.

As a player with 5k hours in war thunder, I would love these in game. At least as an event vehicle. If they have issues with balancing they could just adjusted the numbers (within reason) to try to make them both accurate and fun

They really aren’t anywhere close to running out of vehicles. We’ve barely scratched the surface with some of the prototypes. I’d rather they not add any of these fake paper vehicles that at best had wooden mock-ups.
