In our adventure with the rewilding of the Pixies we have wandered down some very interesting paths of discovery and our experiment with the topic of Electroculture in the Pixies Potager has been at the top of that fascinating list.
Nikola Tesla famously said that to discover the secrets of the universe, one must think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration…
So, when we happened upon the concept of Electroculture, it immediately intrigued us.
We set about investigating the veracity of its claims and attempting to create our own garden experiments using single strand solid copper wire fashioned into antennas, vortexed tepees, and open-ended copper collars.
We eagerly observed our garden “laboratory” tending to our plants carefully, and attempting to identify if there was anything to this theory that the harnessing of atmospheric energy will have positive effects on a plant's growth and production.
It turns out that our plants were delighted with our energetic little project, and we were happily surprised by our quantifiable results!
I suspect that Nikola Tesla was correct and that what we don’t yet know regarding the mysteries of our universe far outweighs what we do know.
I also suspect that much of what we think we know doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of what is possible in our world!

This is my first year trying electroculture and I’ve been getting good results. I’ve also been told by other gardeners that have been doing this longer that every year it keeps getting better / increased results! Also I love your style….. blessings to you and your family!!!!!

Clearly, the most delightful and informative of all the electroculture videos I have seen so far! I, like you, was immediately drawn to the idea as soon as I heard of it. I decided to make the wire wrapped around the tall stick version myself with really nothing more than the idea that height seemed important somehow. This is an engaging experiment that I am glad I found out about early enough in the season to try. It's like it has entered the collective consciousness... and now we will find out how it works for us. AND I thank you for the idea of putting a quartz stone atop the pole. I have ones just like yours that have squiggly wire coming out the top. At least one of mine will be adorned before nightfall. 💗💗

Thank you for the lovely compliment!❤ Electroculture has definitely taken hold of peoples imaginations, and it's so fun to see so many people experimenting in their gardens and feeling a bit more empowered... We are glad you liked the crystals on top of the antennas. Your local dragonflies will be delighted with your addition!😂 Good luck with your garden this year, and thanks for watching.😊

I had a few plants that weren’t doing well so I tried electroculture. Within a week the plants were doing well and growing new leaves that the insects munched on. After another week they excelled. I put a whole bunch of electroculture posts all over the garden and got a bumper crop last year. I have to say, for me, I did see a big difference, in most of my vegetables. I will do this again this season.

Well hello there. I’m not going to embellish the views that have already been done. But bravo. I especially like the very ending. Well read. I am also a novice at this and am trying this with 4 wire telephone cable with the wires stripped at each end. So far I think it is working but need more time to see. I have read that a 6’ pole will affect about 250 sqft. So a circle diameter of 8ish feet. Love from 🇨🇦

Great job. Loved hearing about some of the history and seeing your kids in the garden. we have incorporated electroculture experiments in our garden also with some positive results.The wrapping clockwise thing is so confusing. I see people doing it differently on various videos from the Northern Hemisphere. Maybe you can help me figure it out. When I wrapped spirals, I thought I was wrapping clockwise. When I hold up a wrapped stick horizontally and look at one end of the stick/wrap (as if looking at a clock on the wall) the wrapped wire goes clockwise no matter if you are looking from what would be the top or the bottom. On your sticks, the wire seems to go counterclockwise when holding the wrapped stick horizontally. I am not trying to give you a hard time. I am truly just trying to make sure that I have it right. 🤔🙂 Your thoughts would be much appreciated. Thank you.
@verityhouseinspired9184

It has definitely been a challenge trying to figure out the spiraling "rules"! 🤣 There were some who insisted you must go clockwise from the top to the ground and then others who disagreed and advised from top down .... So, we started trying both ways and frankly got the same results... We do our smaller antennas clockwise from the bottom...😊 Our plants seem to be responding brilliantly to them... We have a few more videos on the topic of electroculture, which delve a bit deeper into the subject and the individuals involved in popularizing it. Thank you for watching the video and for reaching out. I'm not sure I've been any help in my response, but good luck with your own garden experiment, as the process itself is interesting.😊

I did not use a stick. I placed a copper coil on the south side of my raised beds and pointed the tip north. And after 3 days, my dying garden beds ravaged with insects started perking up! 3 weeks later and I was harvesting almost daily. Which has never happened that early in june before. My summer crops. I dont do spring just summer and fall crops. Amazing is what it is. Just absolutely AMAZING! 🎉❤

When we first began this experiment with the coils we read to orient the opening to the South and later (after making this video), we saw information suggesting the opening be to the North... To be honest with you, I'm no longer convinced the direction of the opening is the most important element, as our potted plants are often moved around, and I find copper collars facing in all directions ...yet seemingly still working to strengthen our plants. We are continuing to experiment, refine and learn as we go.😊 Thank you for watching...😊
