Jeah it's a chess play ( that's what I'm saying all the time) but chess play under very inconvenient circumstanances where you have to make your decisions in split of a second and under extremely pressure . This is exactly how it should be trained I mean constantly analizing what could be the more efficient next move may saving your life one day because by training like this you will be better preperered for unpleasant surprises . The brain must learning to adopting into new environment very fast that's why I would also adding some new ( obstacles) to the training . .... poor lighting conditions for exemple up to complete darkness ( dojo will always be bright but streets fights are taking place often at the night ). I think It is worthy to stressed that In the dark your perception of the surroundings and the situation you find yourself in will completely change . For instance in the darkness you can't see if your opponent reaching for knife or not ). The next point that will not be taken into account in any dojos that would be uncomfortable clothing or a slippery surface, where most especially karate kind of techniques, will ending as useless. I mean just just pay attention what kind of environment you will get in dojos and compare this to the street conditions where you know next to nothing what may coming at you at any moment beside that in dojo before you doing fancy stuff you will warm your your body and doing some stretching for 15 minute's . Unlike in real life in case of dojo you will already know that you have to fight in one hour so we are talking here about completely another world 🥋🙄
