You know, I'd never looked at it from that angle, but you're exactly right! William and Catherine have very little help from a nanny, it's mostly just for when they're away from home, and with the Princess of Wales still recuperating, Prince William is manning the parenting train (relatively) solo. Add in to that the King being so open, upfront and willing to talk about his health issues, both men really are leading the way, showing how and encouraging other men to open up, talk about things and have it be ok. As awful as this cancer diagnosis has been, I think it's made the Royal Family more human, more relatable. It seems to have improved some people's opinions on King Charles. It's a bit of an "oh royal, rich and posh people can get cancer too?" moment, and, like it did during the initial early stages of the pandemic, it's very unifying, because, even in this day and age, cancer is still a ki-ller. And it is _NOT_ bothered by race, creed, class, religion or your socio-economic status. We are all equally as rich or as poor as each other when cancer is involved, and for that reason, I think it probably scares everyone equally. Because, lets have it, cancer sucks. Period.
