The first time Kagutsuchi was introduced was when Sasuke extinguished his own Amaterasu to save his Taka members during the fight with Killer Bee, that's how he discovered he can control his black flames after he casts them.

to be fair, sasuke has been amasing at shape transformations since he was a kid with phoenix flower jutsu. He just elaborated upon it more with things like chidori variations (senbon, kirin, etc) and finally with amaterasu.

And you're forgetting the newest Sasuke's secret technique in Road To Boruto: he shots a bunch of arrows with the susano'o, after that he creates 9 chibaku tensei, then he sets them into fire with the amaterasu using the inferno style (I prefer that name XD), and finally, he launches the 9 burning chibaku tensei to his opponent. That technique can bee seen from outer space, and destroys a part of the planet. That's a broken, but cool jutsu

Revisiting this video, one thing about using chakra cost and why it's not drained so much and he can spam it is due to the fact that it can't last for atleast 8days. As you pointed out, he can manipulate it in pretty much any way he can think of. So after using it once and since it burns and spreads on its own, he doesn't need to use charka to make more unless he wants to.

Very nice video but I think you forgot to mention that Jiraiya sealed away some black flames in his encounter with Itachi. Thats one way to counter it. Space time jutsu is also effective at wisking it away as obito did via kamui.

There's a sealing jutsu that seals fire. Jiraya used it while he was looking for tsunade. Now obviously it's not beating enton, but a kage-level sealing jutsu master could maybe adapt it to hard counter enton.
