I just realised something. I’m not sure if someone already pointed it out, but the Pokémon in HOME are 3D models of the official Ken Sugimori drawings. I noticed it with Meowth but thought it was coincidental. Then I saw the Machop one and concluded that was the case with every Pokémon. Nice touch, Pokémon Company.

After I transferred ALL of my Pokemon collected over my ENTIRE LIFE, to my X version, I lost it, or it got stolen, and every Mon I had was just gone forever. Event mons, shinies, my 2015 World Championship Sharpedo.. Years and years of work, just vanished. RIP Friends, and thanks for the memories.. I wish I could bring you home..

I love home. I have a electivire, which was o.c. a elecabuzz back in his fire red/emerald days. He was carried through every gen an got his hands to be bands( contest, league, tower, the platinum expensive ones etc.) Happy to know that i can carry him further

Duck Clone #17 when I was little I had a copy of Pokémon silver. I didn’t know how to continue in the Kanto region that well, so I filled an entire box, 30 Pokémon, with Beedrill, A Pokémon I’m pretty indifferent to, I gave them all random generic human names and called the box the swarm. Still questioning these decisions 15 years later.

This was fun to watch. Makes me want to assemble my own living dex in home though that will be difficult as I’ve only completed a play through of Red, Shield (multiple times), & Brilliant Diamond. I started Sun but never finished it. Pokémon Go should be helpful though for filling in the in between gens.

2:16 Omg, shiny metapod just gave me a flashback to 5th grade when i got SM. Before i had access to pokeballs i ran around in the grass next to Iki Town, and the encounter was a shiny metapod!!!!! But i didnt have the balls to catch it....what a memory lol

I just hit over 4000 Pokémon. Been shiny hunting for a long time and been going for a complete normal and shiny living dex. Also completing all Pokemon Home challenges! Just got the twinkling star ribbon!!

Story Time: My first copy of Ruby was from a simpler time before bills and I remember it well. Named myself Fitz's because it was my favorite local restaurant. I remember playing and breading and loving every second with the game. Well gen 4 comes out and I start playing through the game like everyone else. Somewhere along the line I lost my original copy of ruby. I thought for the longest time everything from that first playthrough was lost. But Pokemon home has a feature where you can organize Pokemon by original trainer. I thought it was a neat feature and went exploring. Low and behold I find the OT Fitz's. Memory's of old times and my first ever starter that I thought lost to time had come back and I'm man enough to say I cried a little.

When I was playing Alpha Sapphire, I encountered a shiny Poochyena before I obtained poke balls. Needless to say, I avoid all grass now until I have poke balls.

I’ve done my own living dex a while ago in my first Pokémon game (Moon) and it was totally worth it and I felt so accomplished after finishing it since it was almost entirely legit (besides a few mythicals)
