Since 2014, the United States has provided approximately $24 billion in security assistance for training and equipment to help Ukraine preserve its territorial integrity, secure its borders, and improve interoperability with NATO.

Actually US was involved in the Ukrainian affairs long before Putin. Ever since Brzezinski famous quote, US had a goal to separate Ukraine from Russia. Since 1991 US military and the intelligence were supervising the Ukrainian military and government. In 2014 US succeeded in organizing a coup in Kiev and ever since Ukraine became the new American colony.

NATO expends in order to defend us against extraterrestrials and it is not focused to fight again Russia. Well it is really valuable theory
@MaxDzoba

NATO expands because nations want to join it and because it wants to accept certain nations. Member states want the *security* it provides. NATO wants new members because it makes it stronger and the world a safer place. NATO expansion has very little to do with russia. NATO never attacked russia and never wanted it destroyed. It's a defensive organization.

What's the story behind Minsk's failing?
@MaxDzoba
@MaxDzoba Жыл бұрын
The Minsk agreements failed because the three parties (Ukraine, Europe, and russia) had different interpretations of them. Ukraine viewed them as a roadmap to restoring its sovereignty. russia viewed them as a path to subordinate Ukraine politically by de-facto controlling Donbas, while turning Ukraine into a confederacy with Donbas as an equal member with the rest of the country. Europe, represented by France and Germany) viewed the agreements as a path to peace and business-as-usual with russia. All three points of view were valid interpretations of the agreements. But, alas, were inconsistent with each other. So when it came to details, the differences could not be resolved.

@@MaxDzoba actually, Merkel had recently admitted, that the Minsk agreement was just a stalling tactic to give Ukraine time to improve its military. Also, the Ukrainian presidents admitted that they were not going to implement the Minsk agreements.

@@dmp1520 I'm Ukrainian and Mearsheimer simply in other reality. Radoslav Sikorsky and McFaul are much competent. For example, Mearsheimer said in May 2022 or so that putin doesn't want to conquer Ukraine and annex new regions. And what putin did in October 2022? Brutally annexed not only Donetsk, Luhansk, but Kherson, Zaporizhia (wet dreams for a city, it in Ukrainians hand by the way) also. This is Ukrainian war for independence, and colonial war for Russia. Have you watch putin's propaganda statements about little Russians, great Russians, white Russians as a one people? Concepts of 19th century. Thrash. If you want understand situation, watch some Poles and Finns like Sikorsky or Alex Stubb, they understand what Russia is and what Ukraine is a lot more competent due to historical relationships between them and Russia.

Putin's view of the West was enhanced by his interactions with Xi Jinping. The two have exactly the same kind of views. The two got together, they resonated and reinforced their views. Putin if left by himself might not had got to this level of paranoia. Putin and Xi Jinping together form a feedback circuit in resonance.

Nearly everything this guy says in his presentation is a complete pile crap. Did no one hear Victoria nulands leaked phone call picking the leadership and saying “f. The EU” Busch said nato will be I. Ukraine in 2008. But if people do not know what was in the minsk agreements they are ignorant of this whole time. Congress declared azov battalion a terrorist organization in 2017 Before the MSM had to pick a side there was a movie at sundance called a supers war, watch it. The minimum it shows is that there was a civil war and that this did not start by magic. Pile of crap, listen to Jeffry sachs instead…decent fellow
