@@ZzigZaG00NIN Roa's ability is to reincarnate a bunch, and one of his reincarnations was Ciel. Arcuied killed that version of Roa though and Ciel was then taken to the church to be revived, and because of this it kinda created a paradox. As long as Roa exists and continues to reincarnate, Ciel stays alive.

@@ethanowen159 It's a long time since I touch the series but basically Melty is a what if sequel of Tsukihime. The casts are very small and most of them are dead in Tsukihime, but they have to do it somehow. Of course this is Type Moon so they did it with lore and that lore is Tatari, "it" made rumors and memories real.

The main antagonist is Warachia. His power is to bring rumors to life or something along those lines. The following characters are apart of that.... Nanaya Shiki - what if Tohno grew up in his original birth family (Nanaya) and wasn't raised by the Tohno Family and had a name change White Len - what if Len didn't need to be MC's familiar and could sustain herself Roa - the original antagonist and was killed in the original tsukihime VN. Satsuki - was turned into a vampire by roa and killed by MC before the Melty blood series started. V. Sion - What if she gave in to her vampiric impulse. Also, a decendant of the antagonist, Warachia. Kishima kouma - died earlier on in the tsukihime series. Responsible for decimating the entire Nanaya Family clan when the MC was a kid. Red Arcueid - same as V. Sion without the family relation Nvsqr Chaos - another antagonist like Roa who died in the original tsukihime VN. Reifsbyte - died trying to protect Sion from Warachia before Melty Blood series. Also, MC is Shiki Tohno. I believe that covers the character Warachia created.

"Warachia" the character is depicted as Zepia Eltnam Oberon. This person existed X years ago, and was believed by the general public to drink blood. Hence the entity "TATARI" was born. A curse that makes the cognition of the general public's fears and rumors into reality. "TATARI" doesn't exist physically. But it's most definitely a "thing" that can manifest itself in many different forms. If you've ever played Persona 5 it makes a little more sense... A lot of Melty Blood characters are "what-if's" of their original actually. Shiki Nanaya is the "what-if" Shiki Tohno was brought up by the Nanaya assassin clan, Sion TATARI is the "what if" of Sion Eltnam Atlasia if she gave in to her vampiric impulses... etc. Take this explanation with a heap of salt, i've only just recently started to sink deeper into Tsukihime/Melty Blood's lore xD Despite having played the games since AC

@@Dragonite33to be exact Zepia created TATARI intentionally. Being one of the best Atlas alchemists in history he predicted humanity's demise in the future but couldn't do anything to prevent this outcome. Then he went a bit mental on this idea and decided to make something so chaotic and unpredictable that it would be able to change the foretold future. So with help from Altrouge Brunestud he turned himself into TATARI and the rest is history

Satsuki Yumizuka does exist, she was bitten by a vampire (SHIKI) and went crazy looking for blood to ease her pain and she ended up getting into conflict with Shiki Tohno, she ended up getting killed, she was said to have disappeared as a result of Shiki’s Death Perception, She’s rematerialized via the Night Of Wallachia’s TATARI system which is what this game is based on, but she’s a rare exception like Riesbyfe Stridberg because she’s apparently not dead though they definitely met their end. Satsuki also has SHIKI’s crazy brute strength and her potential rivals that of this bloodsucker group called the Dead Apostles Ancestors.

@@randalthevandal4170 the summary is not actually correct for some of them: Akiha for example isn't a vampire at all, Aoko "shooting magic" is the understatement of the fucking year, shiki tohno doesn't just cut lines but points too unlike ryougi which is what differentiates them... just a few examples So yes, just because he is right doesn't mean he is correct

if i remember correctly about Len/White Len, Len is a dream succubus that was summoned up like couple centuries ago by some dude out in the sticks or something. the materials (sacrifices) used in her summoning were of a young girl and a cat, which is why she can take on the appearance of both. Arcueid took care of her for some time until she bonded with Tohno Shiki, visiting him in his dreams, while also keeping up the appearance as the family's pet cat. for some reason i can't remember, she doesn't speak White Len is an alternate version created by Walachia's influence. White's whole deal is that she's no longer holding back her feelings and desires, voicing how she wants Tohno for herself, rather than him being with any of the other girls. as a result, she'll tend to create some havoc if she wants to. i think her ending has her settling for a Walachia created version of Nanaya, to which they may raise hell together at some point

WLen was actually made using parts of Wallachia by Aoko after he was killed by Shiki. Also, she's the one who creates the TATARI incarnation of Nanaya who's her Master since she needs one as a familiar.

Not summoned, made. Len is a familiar made by a dude Arcueid once knew, and because he was fucking good, Len ended up being pretty powerful. Even though she's not a succubi, she did gain some succubi-like traits. Having no one to really serve as the dude off-loaded her to Arc before dying, she becomes Shiki's familiar later.

@@MajorLawliet Iirc Black Len bonded with Tohno by/during the events of Kagetsu Tohya, which is a pseudo sequel or interquel of Tsukihime. From what little I recall from it, Tohno becomes involved in some sort of accident and nearly dies, and Len puts him in a looping dream of sorts to prevent him from dying, and KT ends when Shiki breaks free from the loops and contracts her as his familiar in place of Arcueid. As a little side note, if I'm not mistaken, Arcueid just took Len in after her creator passed away but Arc didn't really do much for her other than keeping her around, and Shiki being a Nasu Harem Protagonist EX got her enamored pretty quickly.

a couple things. some are corrections, some are expansions. have fun with text wall and know i could be so much larger 1: Arcuied lost access her full power (Archetype earth) with Roa taking some of it before she even met Shiki. Though having to figure out how to not be dead after Shiki surprise murdered her lowered her power even more. Also, Archetype Earth in Melty Blood AA has it's own fucking persona as evidenced by her story because I DONT FUCKING KNOW 2: Akiha is a Human-Oni hybrid, not a vampire. also, i don't think she needs to drink blood froma physical standpoint, i think it's just to keep her from going insane? 3: Len i think exists because Arcuied agreed to take her in after her old master helped Arcuied fuck up a guy, or i think that's how it went 4: Shiki Ryougi is the main character of Kara no Kyoukai (aka Garden of Sinners). She'd take too long to explain, just know that she has OP ass "Mystic Eyes of Death perception" that let her kill just about anything ever. (btw, Shiki Tohno's mystic eyes are stronger, but Ryougi's are far easier and safer to use. and Nanaya, who btw is only separate because warachia, has no magic eyes) 5: White Len i think exists because Aoko did a thing after Shiki and Arcuied murderized Warachia? 6: Speaking of Aoko, she's ridiculously broken in theory. She has the fifth true magic (aka Magic Blue), won't get into that bit of lore, which we don't know much about except that it fucks with time and energy and may or may not have accelerated the heat death of the universe. for the record, i think it's only actually used for her last arc? 7: honestly, Hisui is probably the least fucked up person among the tohno household. Outside of a couple of issues that moreso tie to the hell Kohaku lived through before Akiha's died. atleast compared to the Human-Oni mixed blood Akiha, the murderous instinct effectivly embedded into Shiki Tohno's genes, and SHIKI tohno being Roa's host 8: before you ask, SHIKI tohno, not to be confused with Shiki Tohno, is Akiha's biological brother, in JP uses different kanji so we capitalize the name when romanizing it to separate the Shiki Tohnos. for the record, SHIKI is the host body for Roa, so Melty Blood AACC has 4 Shikis technecally. Knifey Boy Shiki Tohno is the adopted one, and them sharing similar names is deadass a plot point in many of Tsukihime's routes 9: oh, and Kouma is another Human-Oni hybrid (but with more oni, i think), who murdered everyone in the Knify boy Shiki "Tohno's" biological family, the Nanaya, who basically existed to hunt demons (hence the murderous instinct and Shiki Nanaya being the term used for "wifi is okay if you're close to the router" man)

Roa can't though. Roa has unnamed mystic eyes similar to the Shiki's but they see the points/lines of life on living things, where the Shiki's can see the death of all things. The distinction means that the Shiki's can 'kill' things that aren't exactly alive, such as concrete and even poison within a body. It's why Shiki Tohno's brain suffers more damage with prolonged eye usage, as normal human brains aren't built to see death in such things.

@@raydeh96 Seeing the end of something expressed in Lines/Points is death perception. He can see death, just not to the extent Shiki Tohno can, it's rather simple, Shiki Tohno doesn't consider Shiki Nanaya to see death either though he's clearly stated as having death perception. Shiki Tohno did say he and Roa have the same eyes. That's just Shiki Tohno's mindset that makes him suffer from its use, Shiki Nanaya doesn't suffer from using it.

@@TheMightOfGeburah I can't post a link but they specify the distinction between Roa's eyes and Shiki's eyes in the manga too. On Mangasee check Shingestutan Tsukihime Chapter 70, pages 3 - 6. It's pretty focal to Shiki and Roa's fight. I didn't know that about Nanaya I thought it was just TATARI and White Len fuckery that made him not feel the effects.

@@TheMightOfGeburah Nope, what Roa aka SHIKI see is point of life, not death. It does not kill the target instantly (unlike Tohno), it only drain life support. "I understand now, vampire. What you and I see are different. What you see is Life." -Tohno Shiki. Also Nanaya Shiki (Fake Shiki) does not have mystic eyes. He is just a skilled serial killer, and that is it. He is extremely skilled enough to beat Ryougi in a fight.

He's a Dead Apolstole that happens to be a friend of Roa's If memory service correct. Like Roa I believe he became DA by choice and he's constructed his body out of 666 beast. Which is why his gimmick is a bunch of different shadow monster-like animals and stuff.

She's alive in the Melty Blood timeline and is sane. Otherwise Arc, Ciel, or Tohno ends up killing her after she turns vamp and goes crazy. Also Nero has nothing to do with her, it's just a common misconception that he killed her.

@@MsMvsc Nero kills an unnamed girl in the park and it makes Tohno angry. Satsuki also makes no further appearances during these routes so it's assumed that she was the one who died. But in reality, it was a different girl (explained in the sequel) and it is assumed Satsuki was just killed by Arc or Ciel off-screen.

there was an old fan game called Battle Moon Wars. Ryougi and Tohno kinda have a training segment together, and it's alluded to that they can see the same lines of death (game came out before Kara no Kyoukai was completed). i forget exactly how the dialogue went, but Ryougi mentions that Tohno is potentially stronger, but lately that seems to be debunked but the difference seems to be that while Tohno cuts to someone's death, Ryougi cuts their origins. so i think it's along the cliched lines of erasing their existence so that they have never existed at all. though it's not delved into, so i'm not sure

@@suffering1901 But Ryougi can't see points while Tohno can. (Points are literally the existence of things). So would not that means that Tohno eyes are stronger? (They can kill everythings alright, only difference is side effect and Void Shiki prevent that while Tohno can't)
