It wasn't a problem with ojama because the number of zones that could be blocked was not that high. I'm ok with having 2 of my zones blocked. I'm not ok with having 9 zones blocked.

My friend was excited to test it in Rescue-ACE as well. Turbulence can special summon itself from the GY (and so can act as discard fodder for the hand effect), and you can recycle banished Rescue-ACE cards with the field spell and draw a card for doing so.

Reminder this is TCG and the cyberse supports from cyberstorm access was extremely good that cyberse end board had change to something like: Superfactorial with 3 mathmech one being diameter, online cynet conflict, protecode talker that stop all your link 4 and higher from being targetted, 2 co-linked firewall, 4 counters darkfluid, singularity that bounce 4 cards from gy and field, disabwurm on gy to negate spell/trap, and pegasus in gy to retaliate target spin one card. Circular being one card combo that can facilitate it with the help of one or two extender(s) is brutally good.

The card isn't new though. And nobody needs yet another deck that basically resembles Halq-Don levels of Synchro spam.

@slenderman 478 Superheavy is a unique deck in that it doesn't play any Spells or Traps (except maybe Sekka's Light) and has monsters which attack while in Defense Position. The only non-Superheavy monster to do this is Total Defense Shogun and that one Elemental Hero Clayman Fusion which apply their ATK instead of their DEF like Superheavy. The deck is unique and has its own identity while many tier 1 decks are just remixes of the same mechanics. Kashtira and Runic are about the only Tier 1 decks that are special. Flunder is interesting but that deck was rogue last I checked. Superheavy would add a lot to the meta if it weren't made unplayable immediately.

@slenderman 478 Branded is a cool deck that I like but it's really just Super Poly + Future Fusion when you get down to it. Konami hasn't been making unique decks recently and the ones they do make are rarely playable. When have you seen Vaylantz in a non-local tournament?

​@Steven Ceja Tidal and Redox wouldn't be relevant at all in the meta. Water decks aren't meta so that already means Tidal isn't seeing play. Redox would only be used in earth decks, and it's role is better filled by Vernusylphs.

I just think that the effects themselves are still pretty relevant in the meta and that is what keeps Tidal and Redox banned even if they can't take advantage of them that easily where as in Blaster's case targeted destruction is just "eh" these days and makes him arguably worse than Tempest

Cyberse before circular are just either code talker extra link iblee lock or giant The Arrival. None of them were even considered rogue. Yeah I know Marincess and Salad existed but neither of them were supported that much by Circular also Marincess didn't get the good supports until after circular and salad was missing gazelle.

The people making the banlist are completely different than the people making the cards. Cards by and large are made around the OCG and the TCG is an afterthought.

Yes and no. Wakaushi is still the most custom card that's ever been custom'd, but even with the amazing new support the deck struggled to stay in tier 1 alongside Kashtira.

You can play them when MD release their cards. Keep in mind meta SHS play very different from the usual SHS play so you might not enjoy it.

Honestly with Kaiser Colosseum in the banlist Sky Striker isn't hard to deal with, Master Duel shows how Strikers can be floodgatey if given the right cards.

@@francisharkinsKaiser colosseum is kinda shit in Strikers imo. Relying on an unsearchable card to make your turn 1 board is hard, and relying on Engage to draw 1 on turn 1 is not that reliable. Strikers can't reliably dump 3 spells going first.

I dislike that it's not once per turn honestly, Bystial can shut down the deck fairly quickly.

@@redace4821 the spells are not hopt because they do not have any monster presence on the field at all. At any time Strikers only has one 1500 atk monster on the field, compared to how many other decks turbo out many monsters on the field with various effects to negate or interrupt plays.

DRNM made it a lot easier to break the board since you didn't have to worry about getting more zones locked and your cards not getting banished anymore. So he wasn't wrong by stating it was an out to the board.

Most of the time in game 2/3 Kash would 5 lock the S/T Zone anyway not the monster zones to play around board breakers.

Which makes you think that either: This list was meant for August (Duelist Nexus comes out in the end of July and was Rushed (again) because of Complaints of many "Players" Konami is making hits out of Fear (again) because of Purrely and SHS perfomance in OCG which is what happened to Tearlaments in TCG (all they needed to do was to Ban the Ishizu Cards and Instant Fusion, Limit Kitkallos and Pelereino and Semilimit the Girls. That way 1- the Deck would still be Playable but would be very much managable since the limit of Kitkallos would make it a Glass Cannon (just like Kashtira is with the Limit of Arise-Heart) as now all players needed to do is to attack Kitkallos and make sure it does not return and the Deck Crumbles. And 2- it would make the Field Spell they've got in Photon Hypernova Playable since you can't play anything but Aquas in order to make it work (which means no Reinoheart, no Kaleido and neither much of the Compementary)) And you know what they did

on Stein: they probably figured it was a manageable problem at the time....but since then they release a lot of powerful fusion archtypes and made the mistake of making some of their boss monster not demand a proper summon or be locked ottheir archtypes. Naturia sacred tree: pretty much :\ but within natura's own xccontext it makes it so some of their search effects gets majorly buffed. and Konami doesnt seem ot like the idea of a deck like natura being consistent(but allowed Kashtira) instant Fusion: it got hit back then for a reason. if anything the reason(Norden) not only has not changed but now has more options that can do far more .

I disagree. I'd rather be limited than lose the free Superfac search, since those can easily be compensated with a Small World and Mining, or even called upon later with Alem using Exceed or the Souls cards.

The problem with Red Reboot, as its basically a one size fits all answer to trap decks they generally can't do anything about, is that it just existing in the meta negates the validity of any trap heavy strategy as a general rule. That's a lot of potential deck/design space just erased by a single card.

@@Deathmare235 Nah, Kashtira is a lot more manageable now. Before a good chunk of hands could go into Diablosis and insta win them the game if they won the gamble that you didn't draw Nibiru. Now, they have to actually play the game. Sure, it's still annoying to take down thanks to the Macro Cosmos, but Arise Heart is fragile enough to die to a single Raigeki or Dark Hole as long as they don't draw into lance, so it's not too big of a deal to destroy it then set up your otk. One Imperm into an Accesscode OTK has easily won me games.

The Ishizus at 1 are not seeing any play besides in Tearlaments right now, so if anything Redox would see play in some Earth deck, Ishizus aren't gonna break it. It's just like nobody runs Orange Light in Tear decks anymore because it bricks more often than not.

I'm sorry to blow out your water but there's no way ancient gear can be meta, super heavy samurai had a great game plan before they gave it support and their cards had a lot of synergy between them so they just need a little bit of support to make them meta. Not to mention overall it's a more recent deck than ancient gear and ancient gear game plan is basically "make big fusion with no interaction". They need a complete overhaul, it's the same case for red eyes and other decks. It's a Mathmech situation they were a really recent deck and they were a promising rouge contender. They just need a starter and then circular happened

Honestly playing Yugioh in PvP gets super damn stale super fast. I tried Master Duel at launch and then again a bit later, and both times I got to the meta decks after like 2 days. And after that everyone else just played the same 2-3 decks with maybe one or two card differences if you checked their deck. Going trough that slog just to maybe find one duel in 15 where someone else was playing jank and have a bit of fun is definitely not worth it. I'd recommend getting Legacy of the Duelist Link Evolution when it's next on sale on Steam because it's more fun to play against AI with different decks. And also nothing prevents you from just using forbidden cards in your deck that were most likely banned because other archetypes abused it, not the one they were made for.

​@@farmerash don't play jank decks bro, before you call me meta slave, you need to know that a lot of decks are dated, that's inevitable in any card game, you should focus on good deck, i doesn't need to be tier 1 or anything just good and competent(of course if you want to play the tier 1 deck you can do that). There's multiple rouge decks that are really good and can beat the top contenders. Jank decks can be fun but if you want to do that play older formats or play with a friend. People are playing ranked in master duel to win and get the gems so we really can't do much about it

@@Teixas666 which is why people play it. You also cannot have any cards on field making it useful going second otherwise it’s just a brick in hand which why it was fair to use. At 1 having a 50/50 chance of having the brick makes it not worth it anymore.
