They are LEGENDARY!!!Once in a lifetime phenomenon!! I don't understand what these kpop companies are even trying to prove by promoting their groups as Next BTS? Do they think BANGTAN has achieved this global success and their devoted fans which give them immense love and support in just a year? In couple of years? Noo!!! It took them almost years and years to prove themselves, make a place in that industry by not being mainstream, and now BTS has touched a hight of artistry, professionalism and sincerity towards their work which is almost impossible for these companies to replicate!!!

There has never been a "next Beatles" or "next Michael Jackson" or "next Queen" there have been artists who reached similar levels of success, but they were able to do so because they were their own thing. Queen wasn't big bcs they were the "next Beatles" but bcs they brought something new and refreshing. BTS partially owes their success in the west to the fact that there has never been a group like them on the western music market. They are, as all other super successful artists before them, something new and special. And when they get replaced on the top spot of music charts it will likewise be by an artist that brings something we havent seen before, not by doing what BTS, or any other group before them, did.

Another thing they don't realise is that BTS haven't gone away they haven't disbanded and their solo work is part of BTS they'll be releasing things even when they are in the military that's already been recorded. They are forward planners.

I think when people talk about the "next BTS" it is not only demeaning it makes it sound like BTS is formulaic and reproducible (an extension of a biased view of the Kpop machine in the west). I've heard someone else say this on youtube, he said BTS is a group and a phenomenon is a 'perfect storm'. The mix-match of BTS' talents, their trials and the doors they opened for themselves are unique to them. If you time travel and bring these seven boys from 2013 together today, they would still not be the next BTS because BTS grew and matured with the fandom and through their struggles, and honed their message as a team and in their music. Now why would people think they can reproduce that, they are setting their groups up for failure.

What is so insane is that these companies are following BTS's footsteps while undermining their success, acting like they are just another group. Articles after articles about BTS members doing things that they never did, trying to blacklist them, it's all so obvious, everyone is so blinded by envy and greed. But they do not realise that they are no longer some artist that korean media can ruin the career of, they are GLOBAL Pop Stars. Just the impact of 1/7 of BTS can overtake the top 10 kpop act's impact ALL TOGETHER. In conclusion, there's no next BTS neither will there ever be .

BTS like many legendary groups, will not so much reached a peak and then plateaued, but reached a legacy status. Which they have. Once you are there, you are there. South Korean media and the big 3? They are ALL in each other’s POCKETS. Please. Their media are fed by the likes of LSM who is desperate to claim the someone else’s success as his own. His own vision of China as the future of kpop flopped, he conveniently pretended he has worked towards the global market all along. YG may be a child groomer and sabotage an idol’s career to marry her, bullying older female idols who were only in their 20s and 30s as too old, or callin a talented pretty girl group “the ugly group” in relation to Blackpink. At least he had the decency to step down. JYP? I don’t know what that man is up to. He is promoting himself so who is running the ship over that JYP? I dunno. You hit the nail in the head with how these companies are build on control and not artistic expressions. What do you expect from companies whose main trade is in hardware like cars and firearms, or financial like banks and military companies. For some weird reason (I guess money is money) they decided to go into “entertainment”. Then. We are surprised that humans are treated like machine? Whellll….. The kpop industry won’t change. Exceptional points and critique. I’ll only disagree to the point about how girl groups don’t copy BTS; ever since 2018 it’s only getting more and more blatantly obvious that the big 3 model for success is mainly directed at BTS mixed in with western pop inclusive of all groups and idols.

From what I hear, when people go there, BTS is barely visible unless you go to specific places. It’s like they want to erase BTS and all of their accomplishments. Can you ever imagine America trying to erase Michael Jackson from their history!? It’s like cutting off the hands that feed you!! And it’s not just Kpop. Boy bands trying to copy BTS - it’s pretty much everybody else doing it. Not going to name them, but there are groups that try to literally mimic the way BTS interacts with each other on stage (hilarious), others also try to multiply summersaulting because Jimin of BTS does it, others copy the cinematography of BTS MVs (in a single video - I saw like 5 BTS MVs in just one of their videos - I almost got dizzy from that one), others try to do shows where they have to interact with each other (awkward to watch because you know they’re forced to do it and they definitely are not that comfortable with each other), etc. I hope they are beginning to understand that it’s not going to work. They need to find people with talents and not people who does best in copying other artists.

The world already had Elvis they didn’t need another one. I think it’s the same with BTS the world doesn’t need another BTS. I’m not going to listen to a group that is just a complete copy of BTS because I already have BTS just like i won’t listen to a complete copy of The Beatles. I mean this year's festa was the worst, due to it being hosted in Korea . I mean one particular news media kept asking army's if it is worth coming to Korea to celebrate bts 10 anniversary with namjoon and others members though they weren't present, I mean what kind of question is that.
