i love what you say in the first sentence because imo understanding oneself and each other might be the key - or at least part of it - to solve many of humanity's biggest problems because they're all actually psychological and sogiological issues. climate change, pollution, war, hunger, poverty - they could all be solved if we didn't so stupidly.

I agree - often their are problems within ourselves that need addressing first - often it can be a great step in helping others to see that there are as many issues and problems with ourselves first - this helps us move towards others with a sense of humility and compassion rather than superiority.

As a limitation of locus of control I said it suffers from social desirability bias which can obv mean that someone with an external locus of control may change their answers so that they are identified as someone with an internal locus of control (more likely to resist even though in reality they are less likely to resist) weakening rotters explanation of obedience but what else could I say to expand for this paragraph?

That a clever point to make - I like it! To expand it you want to focus the problem around validity - the measure of LoC might not be accurate because it’s not really measuring a persons view if the amount of control they see they have in life.
