Thanks so much for watching! For putting the pet photos onto objects, there's a few different styles you can do. Their most simple style is just removing the background from the photo and putting the pets photo right on the product. Congrats on your first sponsorship! When I first started watching your videos, you only had a couple hundred subscribers and already you're closing in on 4k. I'm so happy for you. You give good, quality information so you deserve it. I know trying to come up with ways to integrate Printify into your videos when you're mostly a digital product channel might be challenging. Maybe you can create a series of videos showing how to create hybrid stores. I recently started a hybrid store because I wanted to do POD but Etsy was putting most new shops on reserve and holding 75% of their money until the product was delivered. Of course that means, I would have to pay Printify up front and get my money later when Etsy released my funds. Unfortunately I can't afford to do that and I'm sure a lot of people are in the same boat. So I started looking for a niche that would support both digital and physical products. The reason being is that Etsy doesn't hold funds on instant delivery digital products. Therefore, I could use the money from my digital sells to help cover the POD sales. *Disclaimer* As far as I know, if you sell a digital item that doesn't require customization, your transaction is considered complete once the sell goes through which is why you get your money almost right away, even if you have a reserve. Selling a personalized digital product may be different though since the transaction isn't complete once the buyer pays. Just recently I've heard that Etsy has dropped the reserve down to 30% although I don't know if they're doing that for everyone. However even if the reserve is lower, a hybrid store could still be helpful. So maybe you can come with a niche or sub niche per video and show products that would work well for both physical and digital products. For example, selling digital affirmation cards and taking those same designs and putting them on a mug or tshirt. Something like that. Just an idea. Keep up the good work! Sorry I was so long winded. lol

Thanks so much for watching! I think a lot of sellers are attracted to POD because of the higher price points. It's easier to profit $5-10+ per sale with pod than with digital products, depending on the niche. Does Perfect Match Shop source candles from Printify? The shop's bio says the candles are homemade. The listing you showed "Light When You Want Me Naked" offers 9 scents, Printify vendors offer 4 or fewer scents. It's a wee bit misleading in a Printify-sponsored video to feature successful shops and products not sourced from Printify vendors.

Hi! Great question! The goal for new Etsy sellers should always be to do something similar to (or hopefully even better than) popular products on Etsy, but not to directly copy any other seller. ❤️ The purpose of this video is to show products that match the stores I feature. Aside from any potential differences in the scents- the size, style and labels of the candles are an very close match to what Printify offers. 😊 I can't see on the back end specifically what vendors a shop may or may not use, but instead I try to find the closest possible products to use when getting started in these niches, but it doesn't need to be the exact same product to attract buyers. 😉

What’s your pricing recipe? What % net profit after all Etsy fees do you set for your shop? Especially given the 15% offsite ad fee on Etsy. Do you charge shipping to cover it in your COG? How do I compete with so many sellers doing constant sales? Have you determined what % of the revenue is your net on Etsy? Thank you for any help with this.

Hi! Any time I need to figure out my pricing, I use the calculators in my Etsy Seller Success workbook (you can see more about that here: bit.ly/SEEMOREDETAILS ) but you can also figure this all out by sitting down and making a spreadsheet that lists all of your costs (don't forget shipping and packaging costs), Etsy's fees, and then the product costs from Printify to figure out what price you want to set your items at. 😉 I think my personal profit margins with POD were between 25-40% depending on the product and how big the order was. Most of the pod sellers I've talked to about pricing and profits also reported between 20-30% profits on average. 😊 Also, whenever you are running sales, you can account for that in your prices as well. A lot of other sellers raise their prices slightly so that their sales price is still in that 20-30% profit range. (The workbook I mentioned above also lets you add sales discounts and offsite ads fees so you can see how that changes things.) Hopefully this helps! 🥰

I’ve been using EverBee’s calculator but it seems with the COG including shipping and the actual Etsy fees including the 15% off site ad fee on product + shipping charge I haven’t been able to find the 20-30% profit margin while working to compete with so many sellers doing ongoing sales. Am I missing something? I do charge shipping just because it can make of break profitably. Are constant sales a new trend on Etsy? It didn’t seem to be like this before this year. But I’m only 2 years in this. Thank you again. I hope you will speak to these topics in depth in your future programs. I look forward to your next episode whatever it is. 😁

Hi! Thanks for watching my video 🥰 I usually suggest waiting until you have 10-15 orders per month, so that the discount would be more than the Printify premium costs. I wouldn't count November and December, but if your sales are growing and January is still giving you enough sales then I'd definitely go for it! 🥰

Thank you so much! 🥰 I actually don't use a plugin, because I haven't found them to be very reliable. 😅 So, first when researching stores, I use Everbee (there's a link in my video descriptions to try for free, if you want to check it out) to find top selling stores that fit the criteria of whatever video (product, theme, etc) I'm planning. And then I use my own calculator that factors in their total sales (either for the shop or the listing, depending on the video topic), the time the store has been open, and their average sales prices to get more accurate sales estimates. All of this is using the data listed right in their Etsy storefront. (These calculators are included in my Etsy Seller Success Workbook also, in my resources link if you want a visual reference. 🥰) I always use my own workbook calculators because my husband is a data scientist and he helped create the formula to be more reliable, based on the time the seller has had their store open and actively selling. 🥰 I've found a lot of apps have trouble with this and often overinflate numbers, especially on newer listings. 🤪

Thank you so much! With personalized orders, the key is to keep it as simple as possible and have a templated design. (I'm going to show this in a video in a couple weeks) But even still, it can get time consuming when you get really big. My last POD store, when my sales were between 1k-1500 a day, I had to get someone to help create the designs to speed things up. I also raised my prices to slow down demand, which was great! 🤣

But I’m a one woman biz. I had a hard time keeping up with everything during Q4 last year without even doing personalized items. Could you please share all of your suggestions and helps in managing this too. Like how often do you check your printify store to process personalized orders in Q4? Managing personalized orders is something I haven’t been able to find anybody else on KZfaq teaching. Is it even possible for one person POD biz to manage selling personalize items? Or do I have to find VAs and learn somewhere how to vet out and manage them and then what to delegate to them. Hey there’s some more needed content you might consider bringing to your channel.

nobody buys printify products, too expense, customers buy chinese cheap products like the candles, shop you showed is sell at $15...not possible through printify, your profit would be 1p
