Ha ha it's pretty awesome isn't it. You get to play the whole DLC and not lose your kit at the same time. It makes the whole DLC a little more interesting. Do make sure that you checkout my 'collect 100 Steel Ingot' video to as Everett gives some really cool loot for collecting all of them including the Metal Blaster and a pretty awesome silenced Sniper.

@@TrappedInFallout i got fallout 3 just a few days ago while it was free on epic and now i am addicted to it 💀 Ive already started trying a perfect playthrough and having a blast with it, probably one of the best games i played in my life (not like i even played many other AAA games) but this game is a blast for someone like me who likes scavenging open world and PvE. I had heard of fallout 4 when it came out and seen some videos about it but never had the means to try it out myself and forgot about it, now that ive played fallout 3 am hyped for this series xd

@pker3293 Its an amazing series of games. I started with FO3 also and was hooked from day one, one could even say I was trapped by the game.

Ha ha, I like to use these glitches and take advantage where possible. It's nice to see how things play out differently when you sort of go against the grain (so to speak). I have played the game for a crazy amount of hours so it's nice to play it again with a little trick or two ha ha.

I haven’t been able to get the Plunkett’s Valid Points fix to work on PC, so I’m not sure if I want to run my ninja-monk again. Edit: Or maybe I just go to Pittsburgh early for the Steel Knuckles and get Light Step instead of Lawbringer. A steel mongoose should wield steel weapons. Rikki Tikki Tavi got nothing on me.

Sorry to hear that Cheems. This is a known issue of sorts and people have got around it by simply walking around for the 'Into the Pitt' quest to finish and the Unsafe Working Conditions to start. I'm not sure if this will help but apparently it's sort of resolved itself automatically (as far as I know anyway). Sorry, did not suffer the same issue myself so not 100% on what the actual fix would be.

@@TrappedInFallout Yeah,I found the solution by scrolling down the comment section,ended up pressing E at the gate to the downtown and the mission notification finally popped up,thx for the reply

Sorry to hear your having issue with this one Eric. I have not had the issue happen to me personally but I have heard that if you just walk around, it activates the main quest which then in turn allows you to talk to Midea. Great question. The Stealth Suit is a reward item for completing the Operation Anchorage DLC. As soon as you finish the simulation, head towards the sealed items storage area and it will be right there. Sadly this is a common bug that can happen. It's not happened to me but apparently if you simply walk around the Pit then this triggers the quest and you should be able to talk to gmher after. Alternatively try to turn the game off and then on as this would reset the game cache and that should fix the issue.

@@TrappedInFallout also for all those confused ab how it is different on Xbox one, once you go into downtown, immediately exit. Get your stuff. Fast travel back in. Walk around for about a minute, then come back to the entrance. It will end the quest "into the Pitt" and then you're done! Great video thanks dude

Sorry to hear that Paul your having issues. The trick is to make sure that you not INSIDE the gated area when you do this. You need to make sure your outside the gated area when transferring the items. I hope that this helps. Basically you need to stay outside of the cutscene activated area.

Sadly that can happen. If it does then you can get around this by just walking around. It's not a glitch that's happened to me so I am not able to confirm 100%, but others have been able to get around this by just walking around and have found that the quest activates for them. Have you perhaps tried that on your side?

I figured out how to get around it. If it happens where the quest won't start u just gotta try to leave out the locked gate and it activated the quest

A number of folks have seen this issue sadly. They report that as you simply walk around and try to go through the gates again, apparently this fixes the issues. Sadly this is something that never had really happened to me so I can't say for sure.

Yeap, that's part of the beauty of being able to come back. Sadly some DLCs lock out areas but in the Pitt I think you are able to go anywhere you want, which is nice. And this trick helps also for first time visitors.

@@TrappedInFallout so upset 😭 I found a fatal flaw with this, in my attempts at making this work I get my gear in alright but Media the lady you are supposed to talk to in the ally is just walking around the yard and will only tell you to get back to work, so upset was really excited to play this dlc with my gear, I think it has to do with leaving and fast travelling back in, if you find a work around PLEASE let me know

@@Violent250 Sorry Garrett but perhaps there is a workaround for this. A little further down in the comments section, PissedPajamas has confirmed that after walking around and then approaching the door, the quest sort of automatically completed which then allowed further conversations to proceed. Go ahead and try it and see how it goes. I will also ask PissedPajamas to provide a little more info on what door so perhaps help a little more. I hope that this works out for your buddy, best of luck.

No your not, sadly this can glitch out sometimes. It seems the best way to solve this issue is to literally just walk around the Pitt and the Quests automatically start up again. There seems to be a delay. Others have commented the same thing with the solution being just that. I hope that this helps.

Just go back to the very main gate and stand up against it and turn around and it will trigger the next quest

Sadly this is a known issue. I've not encountered it myself but other have and have provided a solution for it. Apparently if you just walk around a little and then try to activate the entrance gate then this automatically starts the quest line. I hope this helps.

Sadly this can happen. When it does apparently walking around the Pitt automatically starts the cannon quest at which point you can go and talk to her. A few people have seen this, not me personally.

@@TrappedInFallout Was able to complete Unsafe Working Conditions on xbox just fine with this strategy. I'm betting he thought it didn't work because you have to wander around a bit to complete the Into the Pitt quest before it starts Unsafe Working Conditions.

@@brentdouge5350 Hi Brent, I'm sorry to hear that. Have you tried to complete the quest without using the glitch. I ask as that quest is known to glitch out, it's very rare but does happen. If you feel like the cause of the quest being broken is the glitch then perhaps try to complete the quest without the glitch. Sadly I don't have another suggestion to help you with your issue, apologies. Do let me know how it goes if you do try to sadly repeat the quest without the glitch, thanks.

Hey Derek, thanks for watching my video and for your comment. Essentially yes, when using the door, that effectively takes away your items so if oyu can avoid using the door and use fast travel instead that that would be ideal. However, after completing the DLC, if you continue to use the door then it should not take away your items anymore since the entire Pitt game area becomes freely open to walk into and roam around (mostly because of the Ammo Press). You will have to fast travel back and you would need to do it quickly enough before the gate is locked. If your early then you can loa duo an old save and try again and hopefully that will do the trick.

Sadly that's true but it can be fixed by simply wlling around. If you look through the comments on this video, you will notice that this is a common issue and most have fixed it.

Yeah sadly this might happen. If it does, walking around the Pitt usually automatically resolves the issue and starts the quest. After this point you should be able to speak to Midea and take things from there.

when i did the fast travel part i walked for a bit and walked back to the gate area and it triggered

I wanted to let you know that I had a problem when I would fast traveled to Downtown. I couldn't get the quest to start. Each time I tried it, I would go to Media and she would not talk to me. So I discovered another way. In my case, I would have to put all my items onto the dead slave outside the gate where Mex is waiting, talk with him and then enter the Downtown gate. Once there I can open my Pip Boy to make sure my Pitt Bridge location is still there, then turn around to look at the gate and very slowly walk backwards while still looking at the gate until I saw the quest unsafe working conditions appear on the screen then open my Pip Boy to fast travel back to the bridge and then run back to the dead slave with my stuff in front of the gate that is now closed, and fast travel back into Downtown. That was the only way to get the quest to start. But thanks to you and your tutorial I was able to enjoy the Pitt using Enclave Hellfire armor and Heavy Incinerator to decimate all enemies, and it was fun. By the way I am playing on my PS3 Super Slim. Again thanks for your help.

Sorry to hear your having issues with this one. I take it that it's the issue where you are able to take things into the Pitt but the questline does not start. This can happen, sadly. I personally have not seen the issue but many have fixed this by just walking around the map and interacting with the entrance and that fixed it. In terms of an updated video, I don't have a Console so it's not something that I can do. Others have resolved it by walking around.

I'm not entirely sure to be honest - there should not be any guards that instantly attack you or become hostile the moment you go in through the gates. Have you perhaps tried restarting the game - or even trying it without the glitch to see what happens?

@@TrappedInFallout I was trying it with no clothes on before because all my gear was on the dead NPC and they kept beating me up then I dressed as a slave and when I went through they weren't there.

It may take a while but you should be able to start missions by just walking around for about after fast travelling into the pit. It's a known glitch but it kicks in after walking around.

You should be able to pick up things using the 'grab' option.

It's a common issue sadly. Walking around and approaching the main gates seems to fix it. Have a look through the comments as others have also faced this issue and had if fixed.

@TrappedInFallout fair I was gonna but meh. Plus thay dlc angers me since I would love to get 100 irons. Which you can but all the gitchs and even game crashes thay happen in thay dlc while trying to get all 100 is mind numbing

I don't think it does - it helps out folks who have played The Pitt a number of times and want to experience it a little differently from their first time playing. I do see what you mean but that's the fun part - it's an offline game so one's own experience is their own and does not affect anyone else.

@camman2330 Its a fair point and it's totally up to someone who is playing for the first time if they want to use glitches or exploits or not 😃

Great question. I would recommend anyone try this glitch out as the DLC can be a little hard for anyone doing it for the first time but point taken fairly. If you have items like yh stealth suite then it becomes very easy. You also don't have to take everything you own buy perhaps just a subset of your most helpful items.

You could always stash any loot that you find if you are overburdened in Midea's room.

Probably because of immersing oneself with nostalgia I would guess. I know that I do 😃😁

Sadly this can happen from time to time. Others who have resolved this have said that you basically walk around the gate and the quests should activate on their own. See comments in this video for folks who had this issue and fixed it.
