I have a pink one in HSS and now I have to get me a neon green one..I love these guitars..I grew up in the 80s as a teenager and these neon colors are making a come back on guitars, it's just a guitar that takes you back to the 80s and gives you that feeling everytime you pick one up and play it..All I have is jackson guitars and it's all I'll ever play..Keep rocking the colors..

I'm not nearly this good. But I just got the neon green one and man. I love it. First floyd rose and best guitar I've purchased so far, keeps tune all session and I've even half step tuned it for the first time the other day. Just gotta learn to play like this and I'll be set!

Just got mine today, black hard tail active pickups version..I love the white one with the FR but I got a Dinky already with that kind of bridge so I wanted straight forward fixed bridge..got it set up professionally, restringed right away, tuned and set intonation perfectly and Wow!! Those actives are extremely powerful IMO..lowest action I have on all my guitars no buzz! Only thing I’m interested in changing is either swapping out the tuners for locking ones or somehow install a locking nut on the neck.. noticed immediately the slight instability which hopefully is from the strings, probably is, but locking tuners and done! Great vid, even better guitar. Luv Jackson guitars

Thinking about getting one, does it still have tuning instability, there is a sl2a ht very similar but 1000$. This is just what I’m looking for but the price seems low and I’m worried about tuning stability

Hey! Thinking of getting the same one. What can you say about: - pickups. How good they are or is it better to change them? - floyd rose. Tuning stability and overall quality - guitar quality in general. If you ever played on a good guitars does that jackson feel budget in comparison with them? Thanks!

@@maxhermany I think the pickups are good! The single coils sound great clean and distorted! The humbucker is not the best but it has its own flavor similar to a Dimarzio Super Distortion. The Floyd rose is really good! It stays in tune for being a Floyd rose special and works just fine! This guitar stays in tune like all my other more expensive guitars. I did have to shave down one high fret to get the neck adjusted and action set right. I think it was the 7th fret. I recrowned the fret using a special file from stew Mac. The fret board looks beautiful after soaking some Lizard Spit fretboard conditioner for a day. I love this Jackson and play it often!

yes stick with the reversed headstock. these here are really great guitars by the way. i would like to have one. i would also like to be on your designing team to bring some out of the box revolutionary new radical designs as can be seen on my rockin roy channel for starters. more are on the way. love your guitars. they are really awesome. my favorite of these is the blue one with the funky pink pickups.

Usually the country of origin. I know JS is in China and I think X is Indonesia.

I'd buy an X series hardtail. They're fine, but a licensed Floyd Rose is just a problem waiting to happen. It'll cost you soon enough. A shame because the X series gets a lot of fun finishes.

Floyd Rose Special branded by the company making the guitar. These are the X series, you're not going to get an original Floyd Rose on anything at that kind of price point. Honestly, they're fine, and if you like the guitar otherwise you can always replace it later.

Bolt on neck is just lazy craftsmanship, if I wanted a cheap high quality bolt on neck guitar I would have just ordered a guitar kit for like $100, I think guitar companies just want to make bolt on necks because they charge so much for hardware and that damn neck being neck thru and or set neck that we gravitate towards bolt on cheap guitars, well stop making good guitars cost 1,000s of dollars, when it comes to music instruments I think cheap and quality dont mix, I also think bolt on isnt quality or neccessary, just like an off brand of the real thing, if bolt on is what your looking for then buy, but im still not sure why bolt on is a good choice other than its dirt cheap price and or mix of quality hardware, just save money buy the guitar that calls out to you, I'm disappointed in companies selling bolt ons like candy

you know their most expensive model (PC1) is a bolt on. I used to be a neck thru snob too, until i got one. the snap in the tone is just better for metal rhythm on a dinky. Dinky literally means bolt on for jackson.

The cheaper Jackson line is great for 80s music. Guitars have the looks and are actually more higher pitched. Jackson high output pickups. Not bad. Noisy and high pitched but give good 80s shred tones. They aren’t bad. The licensee Floyd rose and tuners are shit though avoid em. Ain’t bad guitars other than that

JacksonGuitarPlayer: well to be fair, most guitars designed for playing fast usually have floyds. Jackson is not exclusive to that list, Ibanez, ESP, Schecter, they all do it, but on mid range like the x series and the low budget range JS series, ya there usually pretty rubbish, but they can easily be replaced or upgraded. a real Floyd Rose is gonna cost you some money, and there's plenty of professionals that replace them on even higher end guitars. the say a floyd is supposed to stabilize tuning better, but with a movable bridge in order for the guitar to stay in tune, you need to lock those strings down. when tuning and switching between standard, to drop D or C, it can be come a hassle to have to fiddle around with keeping everything in check. but all guitars under 500 whether they have a floyd or just an average trem system, they all have there quirks. that is one of the things i like about Fender and G&L, there so easy to replace and put on new strings, but because they have a fixed bridge, down tuning for them is not as easy as it is for a guitar it's designed for.

@@Jeymez What I said I was the cheaper Floyds some that are licensed… They are junk I been playing guitars since I was 7 I own 28 guitars. I played the cheaper quality Jacksons you can tell the Jackson high outputs are noisy and loud can be very high pitched but you can get some decent 80s tones out of them. If your a heavy tremolo user I recommend only buying the original Floyd rose expensive guitar and get it of course, set up properly

@@Jeymez DEFINITELY always buy EXPENSIVE tremolos!!! NEVER cheapest ones they are crappily built and would not stay in tune
