My favorite of all the released records by Dennis & the Explorers, and that is not to say that the others, including B sides, were any less stellar than this one ... but this one resonates with me just as it did when I first heard it on a Murray the K 'best of 5 new releases' that evening or week! I ran off to Pete the Greek's record shop on St. Nicholas Avenue in Washington Heights to buy it as I knew Pete would have at least one copy awaiting me.

That is just flawless perfection! Love it!

This is certainly a perfect doo-wop song with a beautiful melodic progression. Dennis, your voice is great, and full of the feeling that is so lacking in much of today's music.

Thanks to PJ Doowop and KZfaq, myself and no doubt many others in the UK would never have been able to listen to this great music, as so few of these classics were released in the 50s and 60's here.at that time. I don't know why but I'm grateful that I am able to now! Thanks again!!

I just noticed the great Dick Jacobs directed the orchestra. He of course is the guy who arranged the four Buddy Holly records just a couple months before Buddy died. I heard nothing but nice things about Dick. Sad to say he was a victim of a supposedly random mugging/murder in NY.
