I just spoke to my friend yesterday who works as a paralegal under a lawyer that handles this stuff. I had this whole idea of creating new placement availability which would provide immediate safety for children, create more jobs, and reduce abandons buildings. She is going to run it by her try to see how we can go about creating a non-profit organization or something, so children will not be returned back to their abusers. I hope something good will come out of this because so many child deaths could have been prevented if they were removed in time.

If child is unwell, I'll pop out and get them an extra little gift to cheer them up, and/or soup, AND lie with them, tell them stories, non of my neices and nephs would stayin bed of hours, even if unwell, they are excited to see me, then they can lie down on sfoa with blanket, but still take part/watch games I play with the other kids, they can't stand it and join in regardless of if they feel ill, if kid is SO ill they don't make an appearance, i'm seeking them out, if not there, and I can't verify where they are, I'd call cops & CPS AND keep following up, as I also don't trust CPS.

She is turning 40 this years, and I myself am in my early 40s. I have a lot of medical issues and can hardly walk without a cane or walker. We have have to be reasonable able what is, and what isnt possible. It would not be responsible on our part at this point in our lives to take care of child. We have all the love and care to give, but we are very poor. Its a reality I dont see improving unfortunately..

I can't understand how the father let it happen. This story breaks my heart. I would have loved that child and so many people out there would have. They could have given her up to a family. I hear the father giving excuses that she was forcing him, but there's much more to this story than we'll ever know. That poor child. My child is 4. He has an eating disorder called AFRD. Avoidance Food Restrictive Disorder. We hates food. Gets no pleasure from eating. He pretty much lives off of nutritional drinks. We have a an entire team working with him. My point is my son is 4 and is 36.5 lbs. He's very small. He's in the 35th percentage for his age. I can not imagine Cali being 2 years older than him and half his weight. I think they must have duct taped her mouth or she was just so weak. You see children in third world countries starving. I think the photo they showed of her was one when she was 18 months. What a beautiful child to endure such a horrific events. Why didn't her birth mother ever look for her? I always say you have to be so careful who's around your children. People are often jealous of your other children that are not from them. Sick. I hope that step mother is treated the way she treated that child. God rest her soul. 😢😢

I guess keeping her locked up was not enough since handcuffs were also shown along with the cage. So many people failed Cali. Almost 6 years old and only 16 lb. She sure didn’t get that small over night. Life with parole after 20 was a kindness she never showed Cali.

That's exactly where this man lost ANY sympathy I could've had for him. He locked his daughter up, hid her, starved her, and left her alone with her abuser for YEARS, then for two weeks he kept her body in the trunk like old leftover McDonald's, when he could've drove her body to the police immediately. But no, he knew he was just as guilty as his wife in his daughter's death. And that he tried to play victim and lie makes it all the worse.

Unfortunately those who are weak minded can certainly be controlled and manipulated. The only thing that angers me is the weak mind he has but I can't blame him for that.

Just because they have a child it doesn’t make them a parent I get the saying but I like to say every child deserves a parent but every person that makes a child, doesn’t deserve to be a parent I get that it doesn’t sound as good or roll off the tongue as easily but just because you give birth doesn’t make you a parent it makes you an incubator💯 being a parent takes so much more than the act of creating life; that’s the easy part.. the hard part is raising them. I know plenty of step parents and foster parents and adoptive parents that are way more qualified And considered a biological parent in the eyes of their kids more so than what some biological parents are considered by their own offspring.

I suggest CPS make training to detect bullshit and deception part of their licensing.

There was some 22 year old CPS worker who admitted to lying in dozens of reports to get kids taken. She could not provide any reason why she did this; it was as if it was just a game to her.

In Montana the CPS is different from county to county. I mean it's the same organization but very different in how they deal with families

So glad you got away from them. I went through something very similar. My mom was dating my stepdad and he had started abusing me. I told her and she decided to marry him. Unfortunately my dad had already gotten remarried and had 2 kids and my stepmom wanted nothing to do with me or my sister. My dad was cheating on my mom when she got pregnant with me. I was never wanted by either parent. My stepdad shot and killed himself almost 4 years ago. Now I’m taking care of my mom, which she never did for me. But I’m happy and I have the 2 most amazing daughters in the world. I’m showing them that love, not hate makes this world a better place. I hope you continue to have a good life! 💜

I was abused physically and mentally by my mum for years until social services took me. She was the monster inder my bed everday . The emotional scars it leaves mentally is hard.
