Great video! I Like seeing the old towns, and rundown buildings. I'll bet in their heyday, they were pretty awesome back then.

Watching you walk through that building gave me goose bumps.

On our way to Orlando, We stopped and ate there back in the early 90's. Crazy to see that the building is falling apart. It do bring back memories.

Great video Tim J. I like how you showed how it looked in the past and the now. I ate their a few times back in the 80's and 90's. Last time I drove past there, it had a fences up and around the property. I wonder why did they take them down.

Google says that the historical society that owns the Desert Inn and Restaurant has sued the trucking company and driver over costs associated with the damage to the federal landmark that collapsed after it was hit by a tractor trailer in 2019. Since then, the site has been fenced off from the road and in shambles. But what I see here, the fence is gone. The building may be in legal limbo and can't be torn down until all this is completed. We'll see. Thanks for your update.
