If you travel to Palawan Island in the Philippines YOU CAN'T MISS THE PUERTO PRINCESA UNDERGROUND RIVER! Yes, it is one of the most popular attractions in the area, but it is 100% worth the hype (at least in my opinion). It was recently named one of the 7 New Wonders of Nature and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tour companies all over Puerto Princesa offer this tour and depending on which company you go with it should cost approximately $40-50 USD per person for a full day trip including lunch. Hope you enjoy the video and check out this amazing cave adventure for yourself!

I use both of these companies depending on the destination and requirements of entry. If you are going to be abroad for a long time and/or don't need as much coverage, I would recommend SafetyWing. The zipline would have been amazing, form a hill top crossing to a small island. I've done most of the tours here. You've missed some of the amzing spots, the mangrove boat tour, the firefly river tour, the Vietnamese village and many more. Palawan is so beautiful.

Interesting. People who grew up in wide open spaces always seem to enjoy being in a cave. So if I ever end up in that part of the world I definitely would be taking that cave tour.

Thanks for sharing Alina. We went about a month ago and it was beautiful and fascinating. It wasn't crowded at all. The guides are local people and they are so nice and entertaining. We also did the Zipline before the underground river and that was really fun too.

@@1517the_year Surely, you will enjoy the cold weather. Stroll on the main road - Session road going to SM MALL. Visit the public market and buy fresh strawberry. Accomodation (hotels) is cheap. Locals are very friendly.

You should try the Mamoth Cave in Kentucky. I was there when I was 8 years old so it was like I walked into an underground building. This cave appears just as big but it was along time ago that I was in the Mamoth Have. Also, when your 8 years old the world is a lot bigger than it really is.

Much improved tours. We didnt have UN vests then, just the standard orange ones. We could swim inside. We picnicked after the boat ride, the monkeys werent a problem yet. And the monitor lizards would roam around and sit by our feet like pet dogs waiting for scraps. Still, amazing you got to go before the caves disappear (sink).
