I’m headed there in a couple weeks and I Def want to visit all of the main sites! We will start early in the morning and return at night. Is it all walking or will I need to drive to some spots?

We are staying close to the the park entrance at a KOA. We have 2 nights booked at KOA and could not find any availability inside the park. I assume we’re driving to visitor center and then hiking everything from there, but is everything walking or do we need to drive somewhere? I’ll have two days at this park (Mon-Tue) then we’re headed to monument valley for one day and one night. Please advise. The tour you mentioned did not have availability from what I saw, but we still want to visit all of it in our own.

You will definitely need to drive to all the sites within Arches. The park is not the biggest national park, but it definitely is not walking distance between the major landmarks. There may be a shuttle service, but I would plan to drive to save time and give you more flexibility. Hope you have a great trip! 😊

This is my favorite national park. A lot of the arches don’t require a long hike to view. I also liked that the town of Moab being within a few miles of the park. Lots of great places to eat. We also visited Canyonlands and Dead Horse State Park.

There is definitely a lot to do in the area. I was also surprised by Moab. Most of the national parks that we’ve visited tend to not have a lot dining or lodging options. But Moab had a lot of great places to stay and eat. 😎

04:50 - Not anymore!!! I've done it about 6-7x in the last 2-3 months (june-july/aug). Each time I go I do a count...around sunset you're looking at 70-165 people. It's not the end of the world as most scatter off after twightlight, and many hike in at night, but don't expect to have the place to yourself.

It's hard to say. You'll definitely want to check the weather reports and talk to the rangers. I would imagine that some of the trails could be icy, which would be dangerous. Also, you'll want to avoid any thunderstorms.

I have seen some of your other national park videos as well, are drones allowed within these parks? I would love to take mine.
@TripAstute
@TripAstute 3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, you're not allowed to fly a drone in a national park. You can launch a drone from outside the park and enter, but it's still not recommended. I recommend only flying outside the boundaries of the park (if it's possible).
