@@_x_st3p158 I don't know, but Austria has a lot of dialects and Sud Tyrol is officially trilingual (German, Italian, and Ladino) so I suspect some odd influences on Sud Tyrol German.

I loved the video for two reasons: it was very interesting and... I love Zell am See. My mother had her first holiday after WW2 there and we went there several times in the '60s. More recently my husband and I went there with our children . We met a lot of friends there. Zell am See is in our hearts. Thank you for the video. ( Sorry for having written this in English, but my German is not (yet) so good to express my feelings)

You have to come back for a winter edition! the area changes so much once the snow starts falling in the resort. Im glad you covered a bit about the Pinzgau dialect, It really adds that extra layer of complexity when trying to learn german here in Zell am See

Zell am See ist eine der wunderschönsten Städte, die ich je gesehen habe. Ich war im August für einen Tag dort, wenn auch leider verregnet. Jedenfalls habe ich vor, da noch einmal hinzugehen :)

Sehr schön! Vor 2015 habe ich nach Salzburg, Zell am See und Großglockner besucht. Ich habe auch im Auto am Großglockner hochalpinestrasse gefahren und es war unglaubliche schön - der See, die Berge, die Gletscher und die Natur! Wow, Schöne Erinnerungen. Danke schön für das Video. I go each year to Austria (Sölden, Matrei am Felbertauern, Mayerhofen, Lech, Schruns, Skt. Anton,...) but now that I've seen Mathias I go next year to Zell-am-See ;-)

Ich mag "Easy German" sehr, um die Sprache zu lernen, und ich denke, Cari ist sehr einfach zu verstehen und ihr Präsentationsstil ist erstklassig, aber es ist immer toll, Mathias zu sehen und seinen Akzent zu hören. Die österreichische Art zu sprechen ist für mich eine viel größere Herausforderung, aber ich finde es charmant und sehr angenehm zuzuhören. Easy German, einer meiner Lieblings-KZfaq-Kanäle (das klingt falsch, KZfaq-Kanäle, jemand korrigiert mich). Jedenfalls, danke 'Easy German' und danke Mathias. Komm bald wieder.

Interesting how you translated "Gondel" as "cable car..." In the US, esp. in CA, we know a cable car to be like a bus/train on rails in the street (look up San Francisco cable cars), and a Gondola is the lift that you are on, taking you up the mountain - like a ski lift. :) ...Mathias is a super host! So many beautiful places to see in and around Germany! Danke, dass Sie uns dorthin gebracht haben!

Touristen Ort pur, ziemlich heftig da im Sommer. Vor ein paar Jahren in einem sehr kalten Winter ist der ganze See zu gefroren und die Leute haben viel Freizeitaktivitäten auf dem See gemacht, das war schon sehr faszinierend. Ich habe dort mal eines meiner heftigsten Gewitter erlebt.

Ich hatte Geographie am Schule, und ich habe über der Donau geschreibt. Es war sehr interessant, und ich könnte viele Deutsche Wörter lernen weil es war ziemlich schwer Englischen websites zu finden darüber, also Deutsch sprechen zu können war sehr hilfreich! Ich hatte der Prufen heute Morgen, und ich denke das es läuft ziemlich gut! (My grammar is probably the worst, but I'm challenging myself to not use google translate, so I tried.. that probably made no sense..) Tolles Video!

I was so glad to see this! My ancestors came from the Pongau which is not too far away. They were the Salzburger Exiles who came to Ostpreußen in 1731/32. Beautiful region!

Been there. Half the sign posts are also in Arabic. I’ve been told that this place is advertised in the Middle East as being ‘heaven’. The tourists there are not so friendly and do not appreciate dogs 🤷🏻♂️

Vielen Dank für die intersante Episode, I will add this city to my wishlist. I have a question though, at the end Cari said : "Und vielen Dank an dich Reiner...", I am just wondering that after the preposition "an" there should be Dativ, so shouldn't it be "vielen Dank an dir ...."?

"dich" is correct. It's a very good example, why German is extremly difficult. It's a bit a saying at the end of a meeting. But like often, behind this short saying there is kind of a whole, complex sentence behind this and then it becomes clear: Imagine a conference or a theater, and at the end 10 people are standing at the stage and also the host of the theater or conference, and when he is saying then Thank you to each single person on the stage or ask them individual things, the following sentences can be said (before "sich wenden an" means "to turn to" and "sich richten an" means not judge like "richten" but "adressing to someone"): Ich richte mein Wort an DICH, Mathias, und sage DIR danke für alles, was du getan hast. (It's also very important to see the word "an" there, which makes the big difference)("sich richten an", "sich wenden an" ...like "...towards"!!!) Ich wende mich an DICH, Stefan, und gebe DIR zum Dank dieses Geschenk. Ich sage EUCH allen danke! And like the whole sentence "ich richte mein Wort AN dich und sage dir meinen herzlichen Dank..." so you can say short "Vielen Dank AN dich Reiner" But a different and as same good version would be "Ich sage dir herzlich danke". There is no "an" in here, so no "dich" but "dir".

Österreich ist einfach wunderschön mit all diesen Bergen, tolle Orte zum Snowboarden🤘😎 aber diese Dialekten😱😱 Sie sind ganz anders als Hochdeutsch, super schwierig zu verstehen. Es war ganz interessant, dieses Mädchen zu hören zwischen Hochdeutsch and Dialekt zu wechseln! Ich wundere mich..Spricht Matthias in Dialekt in den Videos um uns zu unterrichten 😊? Kann er auch Hochdeutsch?

ich finde die Dialekten vom Video viel deutlicher als vielen Dialekten in Deutschland (Mosel-Frankisch / Sächsisch / Schwäbisch). und Deutsch ist nicht meine Muttersprache

Es können im Prinzip alle deutsch sprechende Leute hochdeutsch - weil wir Deutsch in Hochdeutsch lesen und schreiben lernen. Es gibt praktisch keine Schrift für die vielen Dialekte. Wir bräuchten eine Menge mehr Selbstlaute bzw, Buchstaben. Liebe Grüße aus Österreich 🇦🇹

Österreich ist wunderschön. Ich komme aus Italien aber für mich es ist Österreich das schönstes Land. Ich bin nach Zell am See gewesen und es war ein kleiner, aber niedlicher Ort.
