It is too bad for you if you're not old enough, and fortunate enough to have visited Egypt during the '50s or 60s when Egypt truly was one of the most beautiful countries on earth. I lived there as a child back in those days, having been the son of a diplomat. I'm constantly reminded by older locals that it was even more beautiful earlier during the times when the country was a kingdom. Sadly little remains of that physical beauty, except for the people of Egypt, the most welcoming, charming, and warm people you could ever hope to meet. I simply love Egyptians.أجدع ناس سُكان مصرو أعزهم على قلبي

I love and I respect Egypt too much, because I am from GREECE 🇬🇷. Greece is the birthplace of democracy and olympic games ♥️. Greece and Egypt are two of the greatest civilization in the world! My grandmother was born in Suez, Egypt because this amazing country has greek communities. My country Greece has a lot of impressive ancient monuments too😲. GREEKS & EGYPTIANS ARE FRIENDS FROM ANCIENT AGES. I LOVE AND RESPECT EGYPTIAN HISTORY 😁. GREETINGS FROM GREECE....

I took a ferry from Crete to Egypt with my parents around 1990. We stayed on the Ship in Alexandria. It's amazing how close the Pyramids are to Cairo. You would think they are in the middle of the desert. I guess they were at one time.

What a great and friendly vlog, totally awesome! I’m travelling to Greece for summer and will also visit Italy and Turkey. I’ve decided to shave off 2 weeks from my time in Greece and spend it in Egypt. I’m pumped! 😂 Edit: After having watched a few more recent videos on travel in Egypt, where photographers have been harassed by police and had their photography equipment confiscated, I’m unfortunately going to have to give Egypt a miss. Being harassed by police or military personnel at tourist attractions is unacceptable unacceptable.

I’m an Egyptian and I can barely navigate the bustle of Cairo. I’m surprised you survived. I’d suggest visiting the countryside. If you travel from north to south, you’ll also notice a change in the dialect and architecture. It will still be a desert no matter where you go, though.
